The homestay is situated about a 1-2 minute walk from Pemuteran beach and about 100 meters down a dirt road from the main highway that runs through town. Because of its location, the homestay offers easy access to the beach and its famous biorock structures and the town of Pemuteran with its excellent restaurants, shops, dive centers, SPA's, banks and grocery stores. We had not fully researched the local dive centers when we arrived, but it turned out that Komang (part owner of the Biorock Homestay and a Divemaster/Instructor himself) was able and willing to take us on some of the best dives in the area, including the biorock structures and Menjangan Island. Komang was an exceptional host who also took us to some of the local temples and joined us on a day-long excursion to Alas Purwo National Park on Java's SE tip. Komang was a wealth of information, was always happy to help resolve small problems and was an excellent DM who made us feel safe and introduced us to some spectacular dive sites. The homestay grounds are beautifully maintained and the rooms were large, clean and well appointed. The private outdoor showers in each room were especially nice. Because the homestay sits well off the main road, the rooms are quiet and conducive to a good night's sleep. I really don't have enough good things to say about the homestay or its staff. If you're looking for a somewhat secluded, very well maintained and fairly priced place to stay in Pemuteran, look no further....

Bungalow was clean and very spacious. Staff was very helpful and friendly! Only 50m to the wonderful beach! (And there was no problem to rent sunbeds from the hotels straight on the beach) Great breakfast (excellent coffee). Beautiful garden. We enjoyed our 3 nights very much and would recommend Biorock Homestay.

Biorock homestay is close to the beach and close to the mainroad. Every room is a little own ´house´. You have your own terrace and the room is really spacious. The outdoor bathroom has a roof over it, so you stand outside but still inside. We loved it! Your breakfast is served on your own terrace. We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed. Staff is really friendly as well

We originally had planned to stay for 1 night to suss out the area but after meeting the lovely staff, and realising that we were in a fantastic, central location for little over £20 (50m from beach) we decided to stay for an extra 2 nights. We loved the breakfast, the room was great - we had a problem with our shower however this was fixed immediately - and Pemuteran is lovely for a relaxing stay. A great bonus is that the larger resorts allow you to use all facilities including pool and loungers as long as you buy a drink or 2! A nice touch, and the first we’ve seen on our travels around Bali, were the hammocks in Biorock’s garden - spent an evening star gazing and reminiscing about our amazing honeymoon in Bali! A must stop in Pemuteran. Thank you!
