This place is decent value relative to the rest of Bali. It could use a bit of work, but hey, that applies to virtually every place in Indonesia. In particular though, the bathroom was below par, and definitely needs a reno/upgrade. But the staff were friendly, and provided good service. The room was nice, bed was a bit hard, but again, whatever. The big question though is: what is there to do? We only stayed a night, as we were just passing through. But not sure what there is to do other than hang out by the pool drinking. If you are looking for an out of the way place to chill by the pool, this would be a good choice. Good views (and hence the name).

We went to Negara to visit our friends, and tried to find hotel with swimming pool. Then we found Bali Sunset Hotel. Nice hotel with big swimming pool and ocean view. Our room also nice and hot shower working well. Thank you for the owner and staff for treated us well. For suggestion to the hotel, will be better if the breakfast serve earlier.

Silver & his team did their very best to make our 4 night stay enjoyable. Bungalow was great. Neat & Clean. As explained to me, things take a bit longer in the kitchen as everything is individually prepared fresh for each guest. The pasta was amazing & Nasi Goreng so tasty. Silver made the hotel car & his Driver, Dharma, available to us for day trips around the area and to go shopping & to Church on Sunday. Heads up to this hotel. Best on offer in the area.

Probably was nice 20years ago, but is now totally rundown. Stayed 1 nauseating night in a mouldy room with a broken toilet and terrible smell that left me a headache in the morning. No sleep due to smell and scampering of cockroaches. Battled flies over my tiny included omelette and left as fast as I could.

I think there is a misunderstanding. But are you sure you were in this hotel? You probably got confused.

Try to get the rooms right out the front of cliff drop off looking forwards the sea and a great view of the volcano in Java. No hot water but worth the inconvenience. For $60 a night this is a bargain.
