Ibis Styles Bali Legian is a bright and comfy hotel, located close to beaches, shopping, and the airport. It has three levels of air-conditioned rooms surrounded by picturesque gardens and facing a large welcoming pool with an attractive deck and comfortable lounges. We were never guests at the Bali Legian but we did experience their incredible level of customer service. We know that it is a hotel that is friendly and cares, not only for its own guests, but for all tourist in need of help. I have traveled all over the world -- Canada, US, Mexico, Central America, Caribbean, Mediterranean, South Pacific, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia. I have learned that Customer Service is really the most important aspect of travel We highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Bali. LET ME EXPLAIN: We were planning to stay in Bali from March 2 to March 23, 2020. We had no cell phone, tablet, or laptop with us to access the free WiFi at widely available in Bali. Around March 10 or so, we heard on television that because of the spread of corona virus, international flights were being cancelled all over the world. When we asked for help, no one would allow us to use a computer to access the internet. For a number of days, we searched on foot in the area around Kuta, trying to find an "internet café or computer" we could use. We were unable to find an "internet café/computer service" where we could access the internet. Finally, around March 13 or 14, we chanced upon a friendly hotel, The Ibis Styles Bali Legian. We explained our problem to them, and they allowed us to use a guest computer as long as we needed it. They also allowed us to print any information that we needed. They did not charge us for this service. We were not guests at the Ibis Styles Bali Legian, nor had we ever been guest. We were just tourist in trouble and they helped us. We were now able to read our emails, thanks to the Ibis Styles Bali Legian; we learned that our flight to Toronto had been cancelled and that Canada was urging all Canadians to return home as soon as possible. Over the next number of days, we continued to depend on the hospitality of the Ibis Styles Bali Legian and with the the help of their computer, we were able to make arrangements to leave Bali on March 20, arriving in Toronto on March 21. I CANNOT EMPHASIZE ENOUGH HOW DEVASTATING TO US WERE THE REFUSALS TO HELP US GET HOME TO CANADA. THE TOTAL ABSENCE OF CONCERN FOR US AS TOURISTS BY THE PEOPLE OF BALI, WAS A TREMENDOUS BLOW TO ANY FEELING OF PERSONAL SAFETY AND PROTECTION WHILE VISITING BALI. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE, I UNDERSTOOD THE PAIN, ANXIETY, DESPERATION, AND HOPELESSNESS STRANGERS FEEL WHEN HELP IS NOT GIVEN IN A TIME OF EXTREME EMERGENCIES AND/OR CRISES SUCH AS IS THE CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC. In total contrast, how gracious was the concern about us as tourist and human beings shown by the Ibis Styles Bali Legian. They showed kindness and concern to us who were not guests of their hotel, just tourists, really strangers to them. The Ibis Styles Bali Legian is the kind of hotel which cares about it guests. WE WILL NEVER FORGET THE COMPASSION SHOWN US BY THE Ibis Styles Bali Legian IBIS HOTEL. While we were using their computer services, we had an opportunity to view the rooms and other facilities of the Ibis Styles Bali Legian and will certainly stay there at our next visit to Bali..While using their computer for a number of days, we enjoyed the great customer service, food, and beverages at their welcoming cafe. The Ibis Styles Bali Legian Hotel was very clean, bright, and modern. The rooms were cheerful and spacious. All the staff were incredibly friendly, and it was truly a hotel with a welcoming atmosphere. The prices were very economical and the ambiance of the Ibis Styles Bali Legian, hotel was downright neighbourly. If you plan to visit Bali when the current Corona Virus Health crisis has ended, I would suggest the Ibis Styles Bali Legian who gives care, help, friendship, and hospitality to all tourists and guests in Bali.…
We had an amazing stay at Ibis Styles Legian for 8 nights. From the moment we walked in we were treated like family. The staff were so kind and friendly, they always remembered our names and no request was too much for them. The rooms were clean and spacious. The food was great, and especially the dinner nights around the pool were fantastic. Overall an awesome stay and we cant wait to come back and stay again
A really nice not expensive hotel in Legian. The room was a good size, it was very clean and the outdoor rain shower was great. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast was good with more than enough choice for anyone. The pool area was really nice.
From the check in to the check out it was a wonderful experience. Yudi at the front desk is wonderful and takes care of everything you may want or need. I have stayed her 5 times now and 2 weeks at every time, always a great place to stay, generous breakfast, cool pool, great clean rooms and always a smile from the staff. Thank you again, Dr B.
Second visit at this very well located resort with shops restraunts beach close by.. rooms clean have a deluxe with rain shower very nice. Bed king & comfy.. 2 water bottles daily & efficient room service. Breakfast is adequate & staff very friendly as most Balinese are. 7 times to Bali now & still love it.. however this resort s tired , loud & smoking pervades the whole resort! As people are allowed to smoke on balconies & ground floor levels. I was not warned of this my fault!! Even 2 women were smoking around kiddies pool with a non smoking sign in their face! Pool closes 8 pm & things settle! Louts are here & unfortunately I am wedged between heavy smokers. Told management very nice but I do not want to shift! Be warned!
