Everyone we came in contact with was exceptionally personal helpful efficient and attentive. The guides had extensive knowledge of the area every detail you can imagine about every animal leaving huge effort to get us as close as possible safely than an excellent tracker along with fun to be with
This camp was amazing. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend this property to others. Enjoy the breakfast on the platform overlooking the morning migration by the wildlife.
The people at Oliver’s Camp go the extra mile. We had a group ranging from tweens to seventy plus and they engaged warmly with all of us. Each morning they bring tea or coffee and cookies with the wake up call. The day and night safaris we were able to see hundreds of animals. The food was amazing. It was both healthy and good. Meals included an Indian style meal with green banana soup and butter chicken, a fancy picnic out in the bush with grilled meats, salads and incredible fruit salad, and a dinner overlooking a river with animals, birds and sunsets with fresh fish, ratatouille, and a personalized cake. Everyone engaged with genuine warmth each day. I highly recommend this. The spaces were outdoors with guest groups kept very separated from one another so we felt Covid safe.
I cannot say enough about this place! From the minute we arrived to the warmest welcome, to every single detail being thought of in advance and taken care of, to loving the staff so much that I cried when saying goodbye, this place is too special to even put into words. This is a MUST do! I can’t wait to go back already!
The Asilia staff is more than incredible - they are full of love and life and offer so much valuable insight into culture and animal life. The property is beyond stunning and comfortable. All meals are incredibly tasty, and the staff is always so supportive of our needs. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.
Oliver’s was the first of three Asilia properties on our itinerary, and we were delighted with our first stop. Our spacious tent was comfortable, and the outdoor deck and shower a lovely treat. We appreciated the toiletries provided, as well as the flipflops to keep our feet protected when inside. Meals were delicious, food plentiful, and sundowners, as we looked over the grasslands at the end of the afternoon, most welcome. Sitting around the fire, catching up with others as we shared the day’s stories, and chatting with staff was lovely. However, it is the staff that makes Oliver’s excellent. Everyone was friendly, polite, attentive and dedicated to excellence. Top marks all round. Well done, Oliver’s team. Tutaonana baadaye.
Absolutely incredible experience from the safari to the guide to the staff. We did a walking safari, traditional daytime and night safari. Would absolutely come back again and hope I have the opportunity. Completely life changing experience.
Oliver’s Camp was our first Asilia experience and the bar was set very high from the beginning. The tent was spacious and comfortable. The food was very good as well. The high point had to be the abundance of animals in Tarangire. Herds of elephants, buffalo and giraffe - and Alfred our guide was one of the best we have ever had. Not only did he keep us laughing, he was a master at finding all the animals that we were looking for - 3 leopards in one day and a night drive with lions just to name a couple - really amazing! We would definitely request him again. The whole staff went out of there way to make our time there memorable. Thank you to everyone!
The whole experience was so memorable but particularly the staff, their helpful attitude, sense of fun and happiness, everyone made us feel welcome and special. The accommodation is lovely, the food exceptional. We enjoyed our walking/night activity and our guide was very knowledgable. We were very sad to leave. Well done to the manageryour staff are a credit to you.
Our three nights at Oliver's Camp were our first safari experience - and they were unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, with the staff welcoming us with song, beverages, and cold towels, the service was spectacular. Delicious food, excellent wine and cocktails, a beautiful and luxurious tent with both outside and inside shower, and a location - deep in the heart of Tarangire Park - that was best of all. We had amazing morning game drives with countless animals - elephants were the highlights - so many of them in this park! - an amazing walking safari, and a night drive which was a highlight of our entire trip. We highly recommend this camp, and will treasure our memories of these first nights in the bush!
