An elegant B&B in a restored 1834 house located in the centre of the Savannah historic district. The house has been restored with painstaking attention to detail and lovingly furnished with the most beautiful of antiques. Towels, bed linens and robes are of extremely high

I really don't know how to describe my stay at The Stephen Williams House except to say it has to be one of the most amazing experiences I have had and I will never forget my stay here. Albert the owner is a wonderful gentleman and I use that word in the real meaning of the

We stayed there just a couple of weeks ago. I was just expecting the typical B&B type of accommodation, not what we walked into. We were transformed back to the early 1800's in this beautifully restored home by proprietor and inn keeper Dr. Albert Wall. Wow! The furnishing

There is no menu. The proprietor decides what to serve which usually comes with a story like from a special recipe from a famous plantation in the 1800’s. It was very good every morning. If you prefer a menu you are better off staying at a hotel.

We just booked the Azalea Room for May 1, is this on the main floor or upstairs.
Not sure, I can't remember hearing the name of our room, which was underneath the large back verandah.

What rooms have a shower/tub combination?
I believe all the rooms have combo bath and shower. Easiest way to find out is to call the B&B. Alfred is very helpful.

Yes, it is in the basement. The bed I believe is a queen, we slept comfortably in it, but maybe some would find it small.

Does the Azalea room bathroom have a shower?
I cannot answer this because I stayed in the Dent room. I guess a phone call to Albert will give you the answer. The Dent room did have a shower over the tub. You will love staying there. It is convenient for walking the district and Albert is a wonderful host.
