We stopped in Historic Savanna for the day and stayed at this Fairfield Inn and was not disappointed. The valet and front deck staff were friendly and very professional. Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was great and a good variety of options. Our TV remote was

On the day after my wife and I had checked in for a 3 day stay, we returned to the room in mid afternoon to find that the king bed had been made and new towels left, but the counter tops hadn't been touched, and the shampoo, conditioner, body wash capsules had not been replaced.

Thank you for taking a moment to Share your experience with us during your stay. I sincerely apologize for the service failure you experienced. While I was delighted to hear how our 1st Manager responded, our second response was not what we teach or come to expect from our team. We certainly provide additional training regarding this situation for future guests. While it is not our usual practice to have late or delayed service for stayover guests, we had a heavier than expected load for our stayover team which created later cleaning times. We have already shared your comments with all of our team to ensure that we learn form this incident & work to prevent these issues in the future. We hope that this will not deter you from staying with Marriott in the future.

Firstly, this Marriott Fairfield Inn paid absolutely no heed to the preferences detailed on my Marriott profile. My profile has, for many years, specified high floor, away from street, ice machines and elevators. Needless to say, my room was located on the second floor,

Thank you so much for taking time to share your recent experience with us. We strive very hard to ensure that every guest has an enjoyable & memorable experience with us. It is clear that this stay missed the mark & for that I sincerely apologize. You are correct that these notes are made on your reservation, and we work very hard to accommodate as many requests as possible each& every day. A number of factors go into blocking our guests including, when they booked, what room type you may have booked, how full the hotel may be, who is staying over in rooms, & the list goes on. Unfortunately, the night you came in saw a very busy hotel with many stayovers & limited choices of rooms for arrivals in your rooms type. We sincerely apologize for this, but wanted you to know it was not intentional, nor a neglect of your requests. We also understand some of our guests would prefer a paper rather than digital. Marriott has moved away from requiring papers to it being optional based on each area & their guests needs. We have found more of our guests staying this property prefer us o be environmentally conscious when possible. We realize this is an individual preference & not everyone will agree. We sincerely apologize for an inconvenience & hope this does not deter you from staying with Marriott in the future!

First time in Savannah and we found this hotel to stay at. Very clean and friendly staff. The room is your average room but nice. They have breakfast in the mornings available- nice just to grab and sit real quick or to grab and go. Breakfast area was clean. Location is great!

Thank you for taking time to share your experience! We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay, including our staff service & breakfast options. We understand the frustration with paying for parking, and hear this often. We do our best to keep the fees to minimum, covering our costs we pay for the parking & the rough cost it takes to staff it. As you will find we are inline or below most all downtown properties. We hope that you will return to see us when you return to Savannah!

I would say yes because I was, told that the hotel itself does not own its own parking lot. The parking is a special deal between the hotel and the adjacent garage.
