I honestly cannot believe that this hotel is allowed to use Marriott in the name! The room was filthy! Stains on floor, bedding, & furniture. The tv was tiny & had a fuzzy picture on all channels. There was hair stuck on the bathroom ceiling. In addition to the poor quality, the customer service was also poor & this hotel is not on the Inner Harbor!!

The traffic was backed up in both directions on Eutaw st. No one managing the cars in front and you had to check in before you got a garage parking ticket. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. We are platinum Marriott members. My 10 year old sot in car. Even Times Square Marriott hotels are not this chaotic. Will never stay here again

The Good: Located within blocks of the Inner Harbor and a block from Camden Yards The Staff was friendly and helpful The Bad: Parking is a "bargain" at $34/night guest rate Rooms are badly in need of an update My wife and I traveled to Baltimore on a Saturday night for a Sunday family event. We stayed at the Marriott because of its location and the rate was $80 less than comparable brands in the area. Because our arrival coincided wtih heavy thunderstorms, we were stuck inside for the night and grabbed a meal at the hotel instead of hitting a local restaurant. The pizza place in the lobby was fast, simple and good. Had a gourmet pizza and wasn't expecting much other than overpriced blah, but what we got as very good and the price was reasonable. Would have been perfect with a movie. However, the TV set in the room was set up so you could add a dvd player if you had the patch cords - so not a realistic option. The room itself was clean, but had a very industrial clean smell. Heavy ammonia that was pretty overwhelming. The furniture was pretty badly beaten up. Fully functional, but clearly ready to be replaced. The iron was broken. The bathroom was very worn. Everything just screamed out that the location hadn't been updated since circa 2010 (my best guess). Nothing wrong with that, on a normal night when you can get out but if you're stuck inside it was barely satisfactory. So, would I stay there again.? Reluctantly, yes. Again, the location is excellent. And, the room was passable. The staff great. But, I expect more from Marriott in a prime location.

One block from the ballpark. Property has seen better days, rooms are dated, no valet parking (but there is a parking garage for guests) and limited on site restaurant/bar options with continued Covid impacts. Staff was friendly and room was clean.

Disappointed Mariott Camden Yards Baltimore We always expect the same level of quality at a Marriott hotel now matter what US city. It is a comfort to know Marriots are uniform in both service ans quality. Not so at the Marriott Camden Yards. The first room had an overwhelming chemical odor and the aged furniture that was nicked and chipped. The chairs were stained We asked for extra sheets to sit on them. Our room was moved and the same issue with furniture and stains. In the initial room the room land line phone had no wire connecting it. Just a inoperable phone on the night table. The bed skirts were dirty wrinkled snd hiked up in sections ftom the floor There was no room service. We had to request towels daily and was told we the hotel had no available towels. There are no clean towels in the hotel. However the manager did find towels for us The carpet cleanliness was also questionable. The televison was an older small analog with a few cable stations only. They manager " Trey" was more then accomodating and sympathetic to our concerns. We are not NOT nit pickers but accoustomed to Marriott quality. This was not it. How Marriotts name was on this hotel is beyond us. If this was a budget motor in we would not be making this report and expect lower quality accomodations. We were totally disappointed, angry and it put a damper on our Juneteenth get away. jose2 night trip with friends Hide guest images
