Our group of about 25 people from Indianapolis was in Sarasota for the national Junior rowing competition. This location was perfect for us. From the moment I made the reservations until check out, the staff handled a complicated and dynamic situation with the utmost competency, professionalism, and good humor. The rooms were clean, the gym well-appointed, the pool a lovely extra. The lobby area super useful for a team dinner, a few meetings, and fun games. Everyone from the front desk to the management to housekeeping went above and beyond - thank you for making us feel so welcome and taking such good care of us!

Hotel's Favourite
From the first moment that I entered the hotel entrance I felt a general sense of calm, the hotel was very warm with it’s nice colours and it’s beautiful ambience. The gentleman that greeted me at the desk was professional, courteous and kind. All of the employees that I encountered through my four days they were exceptional. Not just great at their jobs, but treated me like a friend or someone that I have known for a while. It was very nice. I will certainly be staying here again . It’s by far one of the better hotels for customer service that I have stayed at. This particular hotel had games, a pool table which is nice and the swimming pool. The pool was nice and clean. I also used the gym facilities. Staff members Sam, Mike, Darralene,The GM Roseann! All great!

We stayed 2 nights at the Tru by Hilton Bradenton and loved it. We were greeted and made to feel welcome by the very friendly General Manager Roseann and receptionist Darralee. We had a nice conversation in which we were given lots of info about the hotel and surrounding area. It is a new hotel so there may be some glitches, but we didn't experience any. Our room was clean and bright with a mini fridge and plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion(dispensers) in the bathroom. A big plus is the room darkening shades...awesome for a good nights' sleep. The breakfast was adequate, meaning since Covid-19, our experience is hotels' aren't totally back to normal. There was something for everyone to eat to get your day started. (Coffee, tea, juice, hard boiled eggs, waffles, cereal, muffins, etc) The hotel is easily accessed off of Interstate 75, close to beaches and restaurants. Parking is plentiful also. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again next time we visit the Bradenton area!

I called before arriving for a last minute room tour change and the man I spoke to was very helpful. I had high hopes after that interaction about service. Upon arrival though it left a lot to be desired. The minimal decor was nice but the interaction with the front desk staff could have been better. Check in was quick but no extra info was provided. No pool hours, no breakfast hours, no checkout times. There were three people at the desk and two seemed bothered by my arrival. Room looked fine but I couldn’t inspect as I had to help my parents with their check in process. That’s where I asked all the questions that weren’t provided during my check in. Went back upstairs and noticed there was no hair dryer in the room. Before we left for dinner I inquired about it, as I didn’t want them to think I stole it. They have awkward glances to each other before one of the girls answered that the dryers were being stolen. She left to find one. Since we were leaving for dinner I told her to leave it in the room and she said she’d leave it at the front desk. Okay, covid. I get . When we returned I jumped in the shower and noticed hair on the shower walls. It was 1030pm at this point, and I didn’t want to bother anyone and don’t think they had the staffing to address it. We were unpacked at this point so moving rooms want an option either. Breakfast the next morning was lack luster. Very carb heavy. Waffles, bagels, muffins, cereals, yogurt, cold boiled packaged eggs. No sanitizer in sight at the waffle station. If you’re providing limited breakfast due to covid, at least make it more sanitary friendly. If not make it a decent Continental breakfast. I know they are trying but it left a lot to be desired. Mb I’m spoiled working at a resort that offers a heartier breakfast lots, more options, fresh fruits, etc. I overheard a couple guests say how great the breakfast options were and made me question what they were comparing it to!
