We were there only for two nights but it felt as if we never left home. The room was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, the shower just the right temperature and pressure, the grab-and-go breakfast with surprising extras such as waffles and sausage patties, was topped off by fresh and delicious coffee. Tom Tom York, the manager, nd his staff were courteous and very helpful. Their enthusiasm for Bradenton/Sarasota/Lakewood Ranch area and their recommendations of places to see and restaurants given how limited our spare time was, were right on. We'll be back in the area and most certainly back to Radisson.
I stayed here for 3.5 weeks in Jan 2021 due to my daughter being in a near-fatal car accident in Bradenton, Florida, awaiting for her to stabilize so she could be transported to TN. I was in the middle of relocating from IL to TN when this unexpected tragedy happened! I chose this hotel initially because that is where my daughter was staying right before her car accident. The hotel General Manager, Tom Yorke, knows how to run this hotel like a well-oiled machine. The hotel staff is the friendliest and most helpful! The sales manager, Amy, is Mr. Yorke's right hand gal--she is always in the know! One need not worry about cleanliness during a pandemic--Dawn and her housekeeping staff spared no detail in keeping the property stellarly clean! While many hotels advertise a free breakfast, many of them are actually NOT serving breakfast due to "covid." But, it was breakfast as usual every day for this hotel! The food was hearty and hot, and there was plenty of variety for guests to choose from! Appropriate food handling care was taken into account so I was never concerned about illness. Marta and her husband Antonio were daily responsible for the breakfast delights, and food was plentiful. There would absolutely be no reason to be hungry after breakfast! The front desk staff: Tara, Chris # 1, Chris #2, and Alex...they all knew how to do their jobs effortlessly! Additionally, I interacted with many of the housekeeping staff while I was there. Rooms were cleaned well daily, and the housekeeping staff was very diligent in their tasks. I had a minor maintenance issue in my bathroom (stopped up sink) that was taken care of promptly and with a smile. Overall, I could not have had a more pleasant experience. This hotel is well-maintained, and I strongly encourage you to choose this hotel over all the others in the area if you wanted to be treated LIKE FAMILY! I will never forget the kindnesses of this hotel and the entire staff, and hope to come visit them again in the future! Respectfully, Eileen Blackburn Crossville, TN…
Pros: There were two employees who went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and felt welcomed and they were Dawn and Amy. Dawn seemed to do everything there. She is so down to earth, friendly, helpful, and hard working. The breakfast was good considering Covid restrictions. Cons: I’d give this hotel 1 star if it weren’t for Dawn and Amy, This hotel seems to be understaffed. It is NOT clean. The common areas, hallways, rooms, and furniture all look rundown and filthy. My family of 5 booked a king suite that is said online to have room for 5 adults. It has a king bed and sleeper sofa. We requested a rollaway bed when we made our reservation. When we arrived at 10 PM with 3 small kids, we were told that they were out of rollaway beds. When we entered our room, it was dirty. A red chair was stained, the tables and counters were sticky, the floor hadn’t been swept, the bathroom was dirty. Luckily a staff member found an additional rollaway bed, but there was nowhere to put it. We had to block the door of the room to set up the bed because of the unnecessary extra room furniture. When we called the office to complain, we were told we had to wait to speak to management the next day. When speaking to the manager, Tom, he was not helpful at all. He was rude and unwilling to help us find a properly cleaned and sized room until we said that we’d be checking out. He then said “ fine, I’ll move your room”. Our new room was larger ( 2 queens and a sofa bed) , but muggy and smelly. This hotel is in need of a deep cleaning and different manager. I will never stay here again because of the uncleanliness.…
Wonderful place and wonderful staff. We loved staying there and the staff catered to our every need. From housekeeping staff to office staff as well as maintenance and grounds keepers this is just a family place to stay. Special recognition to Amy Turner Gregg, Sales Manager for many great tips on eating places and sight seeing. Also special recognition to Dawn who is jack of all trades and master at all. Breakfast staff was so wonderful. Everyone at this hotel goes above and beyond to make sure their guests receive the best service. Real homey atmosphere. Definitely will stay there again soon and recommend to others highly
I stayed at this hotel while at a training for work. The staff there was beyond helpful and friendly. They really made me feel welcome and safe. The room was very clean and comfortable! I had plenty of room to spread out for the week and the location was quiet but close enough to a Publix and many restaurants. I will definitely be staying here again if I am ever back in Bradenton!
