Perfect location - 10/10. Within walking distance to Little Italy and the Gaslamp Quarter. You can see Santa Fe Depot and USS Midway from the hotel. Comfortable, spacious, modern rooms. Great views of the bay. It's about a ten minute drive to the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park. Self-parking is ~$40/day. Valet was not an option during COVID. They offer a decent continental breakfast each morning. Rooms are equipped with refrigerator + microwave. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is very well located near the waterfront, train station, airport and little Italy.....rooms are suites with king or two beds, sofa, stall shower, refrig, microwave. The views are amazing ...it shares building with a residence inn but the spring hill suites has the better views...I requested a high floor and texted the desk and I only got the 9th floor out of 17...oh well...the 5th floor has a bar, restaurant, pool and is open for drinks and food for purchase thu-sun....good sunset views.....breakfast is to go with instant eggs, sausage, potatos, granola bar, yogurt, banana, coffee complimentary pick up from 5th floor.....lots of kids stay here so continual slamming of doors and noise.....beds are lumpy and not comfortable....had to call down to complain about doors slamming continuously.....parking is $39 overnight....marco at front desk was very professional.

Covid tip: If you want to work out, make sure you schedule your time AS SOON AS YOU ARRIVE. Only 1 person can use the fitness center at a time and slots were solidly booked 2 days in advance when I tried to get some time. The view from the corner room was great especially through the floor to ceiling windows. Breakfast boxes were substantial every morning. Staff friendly and helpful. Location perfect for visiting USS Midway or dining at Gaslamp or little Italy. 5th floor patio open for guests so you can bring your takeout to eat there or just do some remote work. Great views from the patio.

The hotel is at a great location, we booked the bay front view corner room, which gives a fantastic view of the water. Everyone at the front desk are friendly, especially the gentleman Michel (if I remember the name correctly). Unfortunately due to the COVID-19, service was very limited, hair dryer is upon request. they still offered grab to go breakfast in the early morning (6-9am), but we were too lazy to get up that morning, so not sure what’s in the grab to go bag they offered. The size of the room is kinda small to be honest, and we wish there’s a bathtub in the room, because the bathroom in our room is kind of large, but empty, wasted a lot of space.

I appreciated the precautions that were in place for safety during the current COVID-19 pandemic. The room was clean. The only negative comment I have is that at check-in I had mentioned that I might extend my stay for 1 more night. When I called the front desk to request for extending my stay later I was told there was no availability and I would have to switch rooms. However, when I went on the hotel website, it was showing the same room that I was staying in (king suite with a partial bay view) as available for the extra night I requested. I called the front desk and told the staff that I can see the room available on the website. She said she can't see in her system that it is available and asked me to make the booking on the website! I ended up having to make a separate booking for my 3rd-night stay. This was pretty ridiculous. Why was there a discrepancy between what she told me and what your website showed? Also, no cleaning was offered even though I stayed for 3 nights. Other than that, the stay was pleasant.
