Quite area. Clean but an odd odour so we had to leave windows open. Staff at check in where friendly and greet you with a smile. BUT a sales team is in the lobby to sell what I call Time Share. I came here for a holiday not to be annoyed by very pushy sales tactics.
This is an old hotel that has lots of charm. The rooms are well decorated and have all the amenities of home. I really liked the access to 163 off 6th Avenue lets you get to the IH5 and IH8 easily. Staff was extremely helpful and kind. Location close to airport but not a lot of noise. Parking could be a problem unless you pay $20.00 for valet per day. I will stay here again. Thank you.
We just spent a week here & enjoyed it. The staff is great - friendly & helpful. Balboa Park is across the street. Easy access to freeways. The facility is well-maintained and has kept the historical charm. Our king studio was large & included a kitchen. Street parking is available or use valet for $20/day.
Just returned from a 3 night stay at this delightful location. The staff was SO nice, the rooms were spacious and well appointed, and the location is fantastic. Sure, the windows could have been thicker to drown out some street noise, and the elevator is small, but I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.
We got the corner suite, and it was great! Huge bedroom and bathroom, full kitchen (even surprisingly with a dishwasher and garburator!). Room was quiet to inside noise, outside noise doesn't bother me. Great location! I didn't want to stay downtown due to covid, and I'm glad we stayed here, because all the stuff we wanted to see is right there. Will stay here again when in SD!
My wife and I spent 6 nights at the Inn at the Park in San Diego. Not only was the location very accessible to a lot of local attractions, the hotel was an enjoyable place to stay. We originally booked this location because our friends are World Mark and Wyndham time share members and had already booked this hotel. However, even though we were not members of any time share group; we were treated as well as our friends. Also, during our stay; my wife needed medical attention for a minor issue as it turned out. The staff at the Inn pointed us in the right direction so my wife could receive the treatment she needed, and we could resume our fun in San Diego. Again, all of the staff were fantastic, and facility was a fun place to stay.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights and enjoyed the layout of our 1 bedroom suite with a fully stocked kitchen. The place was very clean and roomy. The exception being the bathroom was compact but plenty of shelf space for toiletries. The hotel décor was beautiful and located close to many activities and restaurants. The only negative review is the lack of street parking but that is expected in a large city. Valet parking is available. The staff acted professional and was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the San Diego area.
The location was ideal. Across the street from Balboa Park, close to Little Italy, Gaslamp District, highway to go north. Very nicely appointed room with stocked kitchenette. Staff was wonderful and accommodating. Jamal was a standout in being very helpful and friendly. Valet parking is $20 but there is plenty of street parking by the park. Be aware that on Wednesday mornings 7-11:00 there is no parking and if you're there overnight it will result in a ticket that with fees will cost you $56! Lesson learned! The only reason this was given 4 out of 5 was the mattress was old and badly needs replacing.
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel/timeshare for four nights. The Decour is beautiful. This historical building has been maintained beautifully. The location is perfect with a park just across the street and easy access to the cities’ main tourist sites. The main reason I am giving this five stars is because of the exceptional customer service. The front desk was attentive and knowledgeable. They helped us to find good restaurants and local spots.
Inn at the Park is located in a wonderful area of San Diego, directly across the street from Balboa Park. Easy access to restaurants, theatres, public transportation, supermarket (Whole Foods) and only 10 minutes from Downtown, waterfront and Mission Bay. Friendly front desk staff, helpful parking/luggage attendants, laundry room in lower level was very clean, units were updated and in great condition.
