We were on the 1st floor there are 3 floors. On top of all that I paid in full on website. Once we got here there is a $12 for parking. The smell of mold reeked. I now have a cough just from one night. I would of slept in my car but too small and no hotels available at 10pm because we all were coming from a full day of SeaWorld. Do not go there please. They don't care and will not give refund but I care about others not just my family. It's inexpensive because of mold. I feel so bad because if a family used this place for a week on vacation so sad. At this time it was only my husband and I. Hope this helps someone before they rent😔
Older hotel, so not quite the 5 star place we expected, but certainly clean and efficient and what we needed for the weekend. Shower was tiny, and we had a view of a brick wall, but I'm sure there are rooms with tubs and better views upon request. Garage was 2 blocks away, and easy to get in and out of...hotel was easy walking distance from everything, and overall, I would recommend the Ramada, along with these few things to consider.
If you wanna move into the projects while you on vacation then stay here. There’s mold every where and you can smell it and blood stains on things. I think a shower at the beach would have been more pleasant. There is no water pressure when showering or flushing. My toodler didn’t even want to take off his shoes. Ruined our family vacation, we left early.
This is horrible. Literally the elevator is from early 1900's. No parking. Room is not clean and is very old. No roof access. No restaurant open. Homeless on sidewalks. Poor internet access. I would not stay here again.
There was no gym open. The patio was closed. restaurant had odd hours. No breakfast included. Overall I loved the location and the staff but it is clearly not worth what you pay for. They also need to change the AC device. Very old.
First time staying overnight in the Gaslamp area . This hotel complimented the experience . Great location and everything the room was clean . Great service by Jayla the front desk representative. She was able to check me into my room quickly and showed great professionalism in doing so ,with a positive attitude as well. I see myself coming back here again next time I’m in San Diego.
Simply horrid. Bathrooms were a mess. Windows rotting - literally. Electrical wasn't working. Elevators are death traps. Parking is a cluster f--k. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! NOTHING good about this place but it's location near Gaslamp Quarter.
Dribble… cold shower Poor Poor Poor No hot water Cold shower Cold rinse Poor Poor Low water pressure Bad Hard to get clean in shower. Cold water and low water pressure Barely enough to wash hands. Find another location if you can.
Don't be fooled by the pictures. this hotel is a dump! It cost $258 a night and it was dingy, dirty smelly and falling apart. there are rooms with windows so close to another wall there is no natural light. The elevator is a manual and dangerous. almost impossible to get in with any luggage. Terrible Terribel
We were assigned this hotel by Priceline, advertised as a 3 star. No way! It is old, run down, shabby. The chair in our tiny, tiny room was torn up. The room was almost big enough for the bed. The place smelled bad. There is no parking, nor is there an awning under which to park an unload. Their solution was a parking garage 4 blocks away for $38/night. Luckily Priceline let us out of the deal and we were able to find better accomodations elsewhere.
