Undoubtedly one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Top notch hospitality with some of the greatest hosts you could ask for. Erica, at the check-in counter was phenomenal! Not only did she help us check in but she went above & beyond by upgrading our room because she heard that

Stayed here for a weekend was very unimpressed to say the least. The location is probably the only plus about this property. The guest rooms are alright in space and comfort yet nothing over the top or uniquely local in any way. The wood floors seem cheap and not comforting

Hello BPhillips1786, I am sorry that the Hotel indigo Gaslamp did exceed your expectations. We strive to reflect our local downtown urban neighborhood and the historic Gaslamp district in design and style. I will share your review with my team. Our goal is to provide personal and boutique style service at each encounter. It appears like we did not achieve this during your visit. Again, my apologies for you not having an exceptional visit with us. Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I greatly appreciate it. Kind regards, Tony Lovoy, General Manager

Great hotel with an excellent location, stayed for three nights and all hotel staff were friendly and professional. Rooms are large with good amenities. The hotel is situated within a five minute walk to the gas lamp quarter and a ten minute walk to the conference centre. An

Hello Ruaolmos, Thanks for staying with us and for taking the time to write the review ! Sounds like you had good visit with us. We think our location is the best in San Diego - close proximity to all downtown has to offer while located in the quieter, upscale high rise residence East Village area. I hope you stay with again on your next visit to San Diego !! Cheers ! Tony Lovoy, General Manager

Stayed here based on reviews. Didn't find it to be great in anyway. Valet was really the only good service we had. Check in had 3 people staring at computers, not another person to be seen. No one looked up, no one said a word. I had to announce I was checking in to get someone

Off street parking is available but typically not secure or monitored. Parking fees in downtown are very similar among hotels due to limited spaces. Depending on your travel dates you may find that hotel pricing at the Hotel Indigo San Diego may make for the cost of parking.

Is this hotel kid/teen friendly?
No. After 5 attempts my room keys weren't working. My kids and wife were sleeping inside and I didn't want to wake them up. Upon my frustration, a staff member told me he would be right be with the "master key" becuase I told him I didn't want to week up my family. Instead, he decided to call and wake up my entire family and we couldn't fall the kids asleep for more than two hours. When I complained to the manager, this person (we ordered the eisenhower dish) get really defensive form the start instead of listening to what happened. I have everything on video they way they were responding to me. Completely unprofessional and incompetent staff. I've been an IHG member for years and stayed at their hotels all over the world. I just cam back from the Mexico were I stayed at the Hilton Santa Fe and LOVED every minute of it. I will not stop review how bad these "employees" made our vacation.

Is this hotel kid/teen friendly?
While there are no kid/teen oriented amenities on property, there is a park two blocks away at the edge of Petco Park. Downtown also has a Children's museum, as well as the Maritime museum. Vertical Hold is fun for a rock climbing adventure, and there are rental bikes and scooters scattered throughout the neighborhood (bring a helmet).

Hello, Is breakfast included in the room rate?
Breakfast was included in the price and you only get at voucher worth 30 USD for TWO persons that you can order à la carte breakfast for! That sum barely covers a bagel with cream cheese and cappuccino. If you want e.g. scrambled eggs with TWO slices of bacon and ONE toast you have to be prepare to pay extra for it. The à la carte menu for breakfast is also ridiculously priced (expensive).
