Although this hotel is a little bit on the older side, most rooms have been nicely renovated. The pool and patio area are lovely and relaxing. The breakfast is standard Hampton Inn fare, not fancy but ok. The coffee station is open 24 hours in the lobby, and they have fresh cookies in the afternoon. My family very much enjoyed our 5 night vacation here. Located close to the National Parks and a short drive to Key Largo.
One night stay to pick up my stepsons in Homestead. My husband and I decided to stay at this hotel, and it was the best choice. The hotel was located in a very nice neighborhood. The staff was very friendly, hotel was clean and the complimentary hot breakfast was delicious, you also were given options to have cold and hot items. The rooms comes with both microwave and mini refrigerator, they can be updated but no complaints. Outback and Wendy's restaurants are located steps from the hotel and other shopping centers. The price was reasonable and we will stay again. Thank you
We booked last minute due Covid restrictions to enter the US. All fine, old fashion furniture though but very nice beddings. Friendly reception staff, by error I had made 2 similar bookings and it was no issue just to cancel the one that was not pre-paid and duplicate. Nice pool and breakfast was included and had what we needed. You could also have your breakfast outside. Complimentary coffee /tea/ hot chocolate all day. We would definitely stay again if we are in this area.
For a budget traveler, this is one of the best I've stayed. Nice pool, selective breakfast, CLEAN room, friendly, very happy that i stayed here. Staff was friendly, bathroom was clean - would recommend this hotel to my friends.
Frustrating to have had to move rooms at 11.30pm as our room was 79 degrees. More annoying is that maintenance was called and the man couldn’t communicate and lowered the thermostat temp which did nothing as the wall unit already wasn’t cooling. He tried to tell us when the fan was running all was okay and clearly it wasn’t - at least be straight with customers. We ended up having to call the front desk to move. Expect better from a Hampton Inn.
Although all front desk staff were friendly and attentive, our room was falling apart. The shower rod was literally falling off the wall so you did not have a shower curtain while showering. The floor had cigarette burns all over it. Couch was so dirty i did not want to sit on it. A friend recommended the hotel and it had good reviews… ?? I guess you can’t win them all. I would not recommend this Hampton.
Spent 2 nights here in May of 2022. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is big, there is a large outdoor pool as well as big , covered area which was nice as the Florida sun in May felt pretty intense. Note though that this outdoor enclosed area allows smoking although I only saw 1 person smoking. Hotel is is about 30 minutes from the east entrance to Everglades national park and about the same time to reach Key Largo. Two very different experiences and worth the time to explore both. There is an Outback steakhouse next to the hotel with a big bar and fun atmosphere.
Nice hotel, friendly staff and the pool is awesome. The room was perfect and there was a nice assortment of pillows to choose from. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Many attractions and restaurants nearby.
I was initially annoyed that the hotel staff ignored my high floor preference and put me on the 2nd floor, but then realized only one elevator was working, so ended up being glad we were only a floor up. We ended up walking both up and down several times when the elevator was taking too long. The AC in the room did not keep the room cool enough, creating a bit of a musty smell, and making it just a bit too hot for us to get a good night's sleep. Overall, we were disappointed with the room. The pool was very nice, though. It was big and had a small waterfall feature. Breakfast was on par with other Hampton Inns we have visited. I guess it was just our bad luck that the hot options were exactly the same as the first two hotels we visited this trip, since the staff told us they do actually rotate the hot options.…
Rooms smell musty, pool is great Breakfast was very helpful and good quality There is ample parking in the hotel. The location of the hotel is great close to everglades national park. The front desk staff is welcoming and friendly
