The front desk staff was very friendly. And the breakfast was great. I wasn't has happy with the cleanness of the bathroom but cleaned tub myself and got by. The bathtub is low and no handles to hold on to getting out so be careful. We don't mind paying a high price for 4-5 star hotels but this one was way overpriced at $275 ( tax included) for 1 night - even if was a 2 queen studio suite. Next time in this area will look for another place 😥

We had an excellent two night stay at this centrally-located hotel on Main Street. We were close to a gas station, two supermarkets, a large general store and many restaurants. The Arches NP was about a 10 minute ride away. We stayed in a large room with two Queen beds and a fold-out couch. The room was large, clean and had a full fridge and a kitchenette with electric burners, plates and a dining table. Everything you need for preparing a meal (but we opted for nearby restaurants). The place also had a gym and a small pool. But perhaps the best part was the huge breakfast buffet (which was included). It opened at 6.30 am and had eggs (even boiled and peeled ones) bacon or sausages, muffins, biscuits w/ gravy, waffles, juices, oatmeal, fruits, coffee/tea among other foods. Excellent — just stock up for your hike in the National Park!! The cost for the room was a bit on the expensive side but that is the market price when the Parks are in demand — but you get what you pay for! Highly, highly recommended !

My family of 4 stayed here for 5 nights during 16 day trip, 4 hotel trip to Utah. This hotel had the best breakfast offering and procedure of the bunch. Eggs/cheese omelets, waffles, bagels, muffins etc. Pretty much back to normal except for the social distancing nonsense that has been proven to accomplish nothing (see PNAS "A guideline to indoor airborne transmission of COVID-19) to stop COVID. There was no policing of mask wearing but they do limit the number of people obtaining food to 4 at a time. The breakfast eating area is completely open and is large enough to accommodate all guests. Lobby is convenient with lots of space to do laptop work and is separate from eating area. Front desk personnel very responsive and helpful to our needs since most hotels have reduced their cleaning staffs and don't clean rooms unless requested. They replaced broken clock radio, delivered a package sent overnight to us, and provided extra towels immediately upon request. Like most hotels, this hotel has a lack of adequate towel racks, and a lack of space to store toiletry bags. Room size was ideal for our needs with sofa bed for my son, 1 queen for my daughter and 1 queen for me and my wife. We stayed on 1st floor and it was relatively quiet except for people above us who seemed to engage in jumping jacks periodically. Convenient to grocery store (just across street) local restaurants, gas stations at the south end of the downtown Moab strip. Hotel has coin operated laundry on 2nd floor.

This is a new hotel with large rooms what have kitchenettes (take your own pots, dishes, everything). There's a fitness center which we used. The staff was eager to share restaurant ideas and anything else we asked about. There are many hotel options in Moab, but we were pleased with our choice. Not inexpensive.

We've stayed at this hotel a few times before, during previous trips, and had great experiences then. Alas, this was NOT the case this time around. On the plus side, our room was very big and had a very "open" feeling to it. It was clean and quiet and comfortable. On the minus side, even by Moab's bloated pricing standards, this room was expensive. But of greatest concern, the hotel was doing very little to keep guests safe from COVID exposure. Sure, it has the proper signage posted along with hand sanitizer made readily available. But here was ZERO effort to enforce mask wearing and social distancing procedures, and this was evident ALL THROUGHOUT the property. Even the older gentleman who staffed the breakfast area was not abiding by the proper safety procedures, opting to wear his mask only over his chin. Amidst a global pandemic, hotels need to do more than be fully passive about this matter; and this MainStay Suites property is not doing nearly enough.

Thank you for the review. We are happy you chose us to stay with . Our county has lifted the mask ban for Moab. We can only ask our guests to wear them, but it is not required. Our breakfast staff is wearing what is required of them. We hope you stay with us again in the future. Safe travels
