Hotel was just ok. Unfortunately I was double charged for my room and after 15 days and two phone calls to the owner I am still out almost $200. Owner was rude and hung up on me when I tried to get him to resolve this. I do not recommend this hotel motel.
The property was adequate and served its purpose. I don’t know if I would stay there again, but it was not bad as far as chain hotels go, better than some, worse than others. The lack of an elevator was a hassle, but not daunting
Clean room, good staff, very outdated building. No elevator for 2nd floor, very crowded breakfast area. Bad entrance to 2nd floor stairs at back of building. Tiny Swimming pool is a joke located right beside the Main Street, surrounded by a whit picket fence.
An old motel w/very few updates. Rooms were small, I could hear a neighbor snoring 🤦♂️. No social distancing, breakfast room was full of tables & chairs which overflowed into the lobby. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet. Called ahead to advise of a late check in, requested an upstairs room, was told not a problem, one was reserved, not so, at check in we were given a downstairs room. Parking lot was full, I was told “just park anywhere”.
Yes I know Moab is very expensive. But paying almost 1K US dollars for 4 nights for a hotel that should be about 1/3 the price? The hotel is pretty clean. No complaints there. It is old and tired and needs updating. The person who checked us in was very nice and helpful but looked like he was discharged from a drug rehab. In all leather motorcycle gear, needed to put on about 50 lbs, hair not washed in weeks. Cigarette hanging from his mouth when outside. Yes nice and helpful. Room takes about 30 seconds for the card to work. Needed fresh air, and I thought I would break the window opening, as it was so stuck. Put a left over salad in refrigerator for the next day and the next day it was frozen. The refrigerator made noise all night. Then the pool was never working for the entire time. But we were able to go next door to the Hampton Inn and use it. That was a treat. The breakfast eggs were obviously freeze-dried, salty and really hard to eat. The good thing? The coffee machine made hot chocolate and nice coffee and the beds were comfortable and I liked the feel of the linens. No room cleaning unless asked. That should have been told at check in. We are fine not having room cleaned but nice to know. A table in the entrance with items when needed. I would pay $20 more and stay elsewhere next time. Location was fine if you are ok to walk about a mile to the main part of Moab.…
