CALLIE AT THE FRONT DESK SCAMMED US OUT OF $300!! she never disputed ANYTHING about a $300 hidden fee, and charged my card after we had left the hotel. we called and she answered saying it was her, and the hotel is under NO obligation to disclose of this fee unless asked. 😡😡😡. the room also stunk.

Hotel's Favourite
we had a wonderful staycation at the InterContintal. some people wrote about negative experiences recently so I was prepared for disappointment but that was not at all the case for us. clean, modern, updated room. soundproof walls (always a must). friendly service. the valet parking is like $100 - check out options in the area on Spothero, or if you're here on a Saturday night then street parking is very doable. meters end after 6pm on saturday and aren't enforced on Sunday - just don't leave anything in your car that could cause a break in. (unfortunately this area is now a bit sketchy so wouldn't walk around after dark.)

I’m a very loyal ihg person and maybe I have my ihg brands mixed up but this was decidedly average. - most of the staff I should point out were lovely - Chap when I arrived late appeared to have better things to do. Complimentary upgrade was a higher floor - Bar, restaurant, room service all stops at 10pm Good location, great view and did the job

The room is large and well equipped. Breakfast was not free and will cost extra. However, there are supermarket and restaurants nearby for meals and shopping. Bart Station is around 10 mins walkaway with access to most of the city. It is also close to Moscone Center where many convetion and expo take place.

If your going to hold a work event at a hotel near Moscone Center, this is the hotel to got to. The service of the staff is 5 star. The Conference service person, Tammy excelled as did the in-house AV. This was such an unusually good work experience b/c of the service at the hotel.

The hotel InterContinental San Francisco is located in the South of Market district. It’s close to Mission, Market and a great location to get around either by public transport, Uber and/or walking. The rooms/suites are modern, light filled with all amenities you would expect from a premium brand and hotel. The hotels restaurant and bar offer a large and varied selection. The team are warm, friendly and engaging and always happy to assist. I would definitely recommend the InterContinental San Francisco for couples, families and/or business travelers.

This was my first stay at an Intercontinental, and I have to say, it lived up to it's name. A gorgeous lobby greeted me after the helpful valet staff assisted with my bags and parked the car. The check-in experience was lovely, and I was appraised that my very minimal IHG status earned me an upgrade to a high floor and a city view. Upon arrival in my room, it was quite the view, and I appreciated the gesture. The room was lovely, with a large work desk and a seating area, and a bathroom with a tub. The view from the room, and from the large window at the end of the hallway were stunning, and I definitely stood for a while to admire. The location was excellent for an event at Moscone, and is mere blocks from the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and SF MOMA if you need an art fix while you're there. There is also the Metreon with shops and a Target, and the former Westfield shopping mall, if you want to do some shopping or need sundries or a snack. Plenty of local dining walking distance, and a whole city just an uber away, it was a great launchpad for a week in SF. I didn't access the ballrooms, as they were in use for another event, but from the hustle and bustle they seemed to be having a great event.

Very nice stay. Comfortable, bright, spacious room. Good quality of sleep. Good housekeeping. Breakfast choices/quality could be improved, but otherwise I'd definitely stay here again when on business in SF.

In what is a now disgusting city, this hotel was our savior. Designed for business but accommodated us very well on a short break. Very clean, modern, large and comfortable rooms. Ours with an amazing view. Our iron didn't work so we got a replacement straightaway. Great little bar - 1 criticism is that this closed too early at 10pm. Very quick check in. Good to see security on the hotel entrance given the state of SF nowadays and the whacky homeless people everywhere

Great location if you want downtown SF. Staff was friendly - front door person got me Band-Aids. Bed and sheets are so comfortable. Pool is kept clean with salt water so bring googles. Coffee is served free of charge in the morning.
