We made the mistake of reading the recent negative reviews here. It was nothing like what everyone else was complaining about. Check in was fast and they were super nice and accommodating. Reserving the pools or beach chairs was easy and we got it every time we requested it. Everyone always wore masks and even social distanced in the hot tubs. Resort was always clean. Our room was well equipped with comfy beds. Even extended our stay another week because we were so pleased. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
I admit to being confused by the reviews that are so decidedly negative. Having been a multi-week time share owner for 20 years, we have experienced Marriott’s around the world. Ko Olina Beach Club staff and management are wonderful! They acknowledge COVID protocols and follow them, but they are doing everything they can to ensure guests have a great vacation. Pool or beach reservations are for two hours, though walk-ins are welcome after 30 minutes. You can also enjoy the beach anytime. The rooms entire resort were very clean and freshly decorated. Service at Longboard’s and the Marketplace was friendly and fast—everything was tasty. If you expect to be completely free in what you do, where you go and whether you have to wear a mask, that means staying home. If you want a wonderful holiday in Hawaii there are hoops to jump through, but it is safe and thus well worth it.…
First of all, thanks to Jeanine and Randy, Front Office Managers for facilitating an excellent stay for me and my Wife Angela Robinson who is a Elite-Level Bonvoy member. We stayed from 12/5/20-01/08/21. Five (5) glorious weeks all made wonderful by the great service of the Front Desk, Housekeeping Staff, F&B, and Gym Staff. Obviously, some amenities were scaled back some due to COVID-19 issues, but the Customer Service was still First Class all the way. Our primary stay room #30733 which was facilitated by Jeanine, was absolutely perfect. We did stay 5 consecutive weeks, so there were a couple of room relocations which Jeanine and Randy still helped to make the process seamless and easy. We also stayed in #20631-29 and 20719, but #30733 for 3 weeks was magical. We want this one every time if at all possible! Everyone in Hawaii is taking this virus very seriously and practicing the Aloha spirit which is why we are returning so soon on 02/20/21 for another 2-3 weeks. DO NOT listen to the other negative reviews on the internet for this property. They all care, it's super clean and the service is second to none.…
This was absolutely awful. The room and hotel are outdated and not clean. I wouldn’t even take my shoes off in the room. Not to mention their COVID guidelines make no sense. You only get one two hour reservation for seats at the pool. You can only have one per day. Then they close every thing down (pool and beach) every two hours to clean (aka spray chemicals on the chairs - don’t even wipe them off). Terrible process and very unorganized. Each attendant (when you can actually find them) say different things. Never again will I stay here. You are on vacation...for the same price you can stay down the street at the Four Seasons and have much better service. They are currently closed or we would have stayed there. This Marriott is a solid two stars. Terrible! Stay away.
Our room was beautiful and clean. It was a great location and the highlight for me was the lagoons. We brought our own snorkel gear and went to Paradise Cove lagoon and snorkeled and saw tropical fish and tortoise, and Monk Seal was napping on the beach. So cool. Many of the extras were closed because of Covid, but still had a wonderful time. Loved the restaurants and location too. Would love to stay here again.
