We had a great stay at Lahaina Shores Resort. Everyone was friendly. It was a perfect location to everything on Front Street. Easy access to get onto 30 for or adventures. Highly recommend anyone to stay.
Beautiful hotel located in Lahaina. It is not surrounded by other resorts so feels more secluded. We loved the fully equipped kitchen, the location, the classic style of the hotel, the views and the pool.
Location is perfect! Rocky beach,Plan on buying floaties and blow it yourself. Shops and food close by. No housekeeping unless you ask for it. Make sure do NOT book any activities with the desk person, look in advance and do it yourself.
First visit to Maui and we loved our stay here. Very friendly and very welcoming staff. A friend of ours recommended Lahaina shores beach resort and we were not disappointed. Would definitely come back again!
We very much enjoyed our stay at Lahaina Shores Beach Resort. Our room was clean and inviting. Beautiful view overlooking the water and sunsets each night. Resort was quiet and located within walking distance of Lahaina's shops and restaurants. Would stay again!
It's not particularly fancy, but it had everything we needed. The beach is not as nice for swimming as other resort beaches, but the location is great for getting to restaurants and shops at Lahaina. This was our first time in Maui, and it was a great spot for us to head out from to see other parts of the island.
We have visited Lahaina, Maui several times and wouldn't stay anywhere else. The close location to restaurant and shops is awesome. The resort isn't the newest hotel in the area, but it's well maintained and very comfortable and cozy. The staff is friendly and helpful. I can't think of a single aspect that I would change. We look forward to our next visit.
We had a great time. Perfect location if you are not interested in doing a lot of driving. It is a short walk to town; Lahaina about 2 blocks. It is located right on the sand. We had a great corner room. Friendly helpful staff. Clean and well equipped. Our room was almost 1200 sq. ft. It was a pleasure visiting.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Lahaina Shores Resort. We booked a one-bedroom mountain view premier room and it was huge with two balconies, one of which had a side ocean-view. The hotel itself and the furnishings in the unit aren't the most modern, but everything is kept up very well. The pool area is modest as well but also well-maintained. The location is great, easy walking distance to everything in Lahaina, including the Feast at Lele luau which is literally next door. As long as you understand you're not booking some mega-resort on a huge beach and just looking for a home base for exploring Maui, this is a great place to stay.
Truly, we loved our stay at Lahaina Shores Beach Resort. I'm only docking a star because it's not some luxury resort--but that's the point! It's affordable and really nice for the cost. Our room was comfortable and did not feel dated. The hallways on the floor we stayed on could use a little TLC but we were out and about exploring Maui anyway so that did not really bother us. A big plus was the walking distance to many shops and restaurants in downtown Lahaina. We enjoyed dinner at Lahaina Grill--an award-winning fine dining restaurant that was just a 15-20 minute walk from the resort. If you want to be able to wade out into the ocean water with your family, this might not be the resort for you. It's more of a relaxing and calming vibe but if you're wanting the picturesque, active beachfront that comes to mind when you think of Maui, you're better off looking for somewhere along Kaanapali. All that said, we would definitely book another stay at Lahaina Shores!…
