Read all the other overwhelming reviews, not much needs to be added.
- We did spend 8 days in this magic B&B. Despite being told before about this place, the whole stay exceeded our expectations by far.
The very warm welcome by the owners, the room, the sounds of the animals at night - and to top it all: The breakfast.
The location is close to Kona, a good starting point for daily excursions throughout the island.
Many thanks to Sharon & Thomas, for this wonderful week at your place
Mahalo!

Starting with the location, nestled in the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii, this location is perfect for a quiet retreat. The hosts of the bed and breakfast, Tom and Sharon make you feel welcome and will provide a wonderful homemade breakfast topped with local fruit, coffee, juice, whatever you prefer. There are many places to visit close to their location and their website has many helpful tips. My husband and I enjoyed it so much we plan on coming back in 3 to 5 years. Mahalo for such a wonderful job!

Just had a wonderful stay at the Kona Bayview Inn, Captain Cook, Hawaii! Hosts Thomas and Sharon go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home in a beautiful Hawaiian setting. Very comfortable accommodations with a view that can’t be beat. And the breakfast was ono (delicious). Fresh fruits from the property, Hawaiian sweet potatoes, homemade banana bread, Kona coffee and more! If you are planning a trip to The Big Island, a stay at the Kona Bayview Inn is a must! Can’t wait to return next year!
Mahalo Thomas and Sharon!
(And we found the Mac nut cracker!)

Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Kona Bayview Inn. Sharon and Thomas are amazing hosts!! They truly do treat you like family. Sharon made us an amazing vegan breakfast on both days (fresh bread, waffles and lots of delicious fruits). Thomas and Sharon are very knowledgeable about the area and pointed us to sights we would probably have missed in our sightseeing had they not mentioned it to us. The view from their property is stunning! Thomas had a telescope set up and we were able to vie a humpback whale frolicking in the bay while eating breakfast!! They were very accommodating on our schedule changes as well. Highly recommend you stay this place. You will come back happy and recharged :-)

I cant say enough about this Bed and Breakfast. The owners(Sharon & Thomas) were, and probably still are, way more than just accommodating. If you're open to it, they will interact and treat you like family. The view is gorgeous, the rooms are tidy and spacious, and the breakfast is home-cooked, which means... fresh, delicious, and nourishing. I needed assistance for spiritual healing and they were even able to assist me there with information and books on vortexs. I cant say enough about the 3 days I spent here... Godly.

I cannot imagine anywhere else in this area of Kona, where you would be better located and cared for!
This B&B is simply perfect, just three rooms all facing the porch and the wonderful, wonderful view.
The rooms, the porch with the sofas, the bookshelf, the facilities for making yourself food or tea in the afternoon/evening are super cosy and nice and Sharon and Thomas are always there for any question or help. They provide you with the nicest breakfast, everyday something different and special and always a range of fresh fruit beautifully prepared and laid out!
We think, that is the absolut nicest B&B we have been to!

We celebrated my husbands retirement recently by touring some of Hawaii's Islands in January. One of my favorite places was Kona Bayview Inn. The rooms were spacious and opened out to a lush garden with views of the sea. There were plenty of outlets, so charging our devices was never an issue. Also, the soaps and shampoos/conditions were very nice. Sunsets were incredible. The owners were warm and great with giving information on what to see and where to eat. The breakfasts were fantastic! I found the gardens very zen. i also loved the fur babies who greeted us regularly. Best sunsets ever.

This is BnBstyle in, with wonderful hosts, Thomas and Sharon. They reconstructed their house so that one of the sections of the L shape of the building has been turned into three hotel-like rooms, each with a comfy bed and private bath. The rooms lead out to a common area on the lanai, where breakfast is served in the morning and sunsets are viewed at night. There is ample space to either mingle with the other guests, or have some more private time. I can’t say enough about the home-made breakfasts, which were hot breakfasts made from scratch, and were served with freshly-picked fruit from the property.
Because the inn is on a hill overlooking the ocean, the view was unbeatable, it was a perfect way to start and end every day, and I can’t recommend it any higher!

Cannot miss this absolute GEM of a spot on the Big Island. The hosts were incredibly friendly and the breakfast.... the BEST breakfast we had on the island the entire 10 days we were here. I will forever dream of the fruit trays and fun breakfast combinations! The location had beautiful views and fun animals to enjoy it with! Will definitely be back, for an extended stay!

We just stayed at the Kona Bayview Inn and it was incredible. The hosts, Sharon and Thomas, were gracious, generous and helpful. They provided everything that we needed. This spot can't be beaten for snorkeling - just minutes away from Honaunau (2-Step) and Captain Cook (great hike). It is also convenient to Kahalu'u. They provided a huge, gourmet breakfast each morning which kept us going all day. Every night the sunset was spectacular from the comfortable lanai. We can't wait to return.

Aloha! Both responses are correct. All units are ground level, no AC and no TV. Birds are entertaining and the breezes keep it cool, especially in the evenings and mornings. September tends to be the hottest month of the year with December - April being the most mild. Mahalo!
