We had a really nice room with french doors that we could close to create 2 separate bedrooms...great so we could watch a movie after the kids went to bed. Even though our room (Lewis and Clark) was right over the lobby, we had almost no noise other than the occasional squeaking of the lobby/entrance doors. Since it was June 2020, covid was of course running rampant and everywhere, so there was no pool, no breakfast...but that was not a big deal to me, to be honest. We found a great breakfast diner 5 minutes away (Granny's) one morning and then literally walked across the hotel parking lot to the BBQ joint the other morning, which had pancakes bigger than your head! The thing that set this property apart, though, was the service...and it wasn't even the service we got while we were there (we didn't do much more than check in and out). Prior to arriving I had a number of issues with Travelocity (where we'd originally booked) and after talking to a very nice lady (whose name I don't remember) several times she was able to not only help us get the Travelocity issue resolved (thanks for nothing, Travelocity) but also got us a better rate than we were going to get! Thoroughly enjoyed Cody and would definitely stay here again when we come back!

Beds are very comfortable and the staff is very nice. There is excellent water pressure in the showers and no shortage of hot water. They do have a policy of no maid service unless it is requested between 8–10 AM and all members of the party have their temperatures taken before service given. There is no price break whatsoever for the lack of service. Since the summer rates seem very high for otherwise average to above average accommodations, the consumer should factor the lack of maid service in when making a decision on where to stay.

They did provide a muffin, granola bar, fruit cup, and a water for breakfast. However after 6 days this gets old. We were told that due to short staffing. I feel this alternative breakfast is an unacceptable solution to that problem. You had to request room cleaning before 10 am if you wanted your room tended to. Again, this was due to under staffing not covid related. My family just cleaned our rooms exchanged towels ourselves because we could see they were short staffed. When we interacted with the staff they were friendly and helpful, just overwhelmed. I feel like corporate should do something to support their staff they have and encourage more people to want to work there.

The lodge appearance of this hotel is was impressive. A huge sculpture of a rearing elk greeted us. The lobby was decorated with museum quality taxidermized wild animals displays. There were no elevators but the climb of stairs with the animals all around us was nice (and we had only carry-ons and backpacks). Our room was a typical hotel room with the exception of log style headboards. Our only disappointment was the promised hot breakfast. The sign informed us that they did not have staff to provide the hot breakfast. Understand...but the contents of the brown paper bag did not measure up to what a hot breakfast cost us. A bottle of water, a tiny cereal bar, a plastic container of fruit, and a muffin. Protein? Would not have minded had it been advertised online as such. But all in all a great location and nice place to spend a few nights in Cody.

When you walk through the reception, it is a hunter's paradise. So many stuffed animals on display. Check in was smooth and the staff member who checked us in was fantastic. We had requested a fold away bed and the staff member went to retrieve it for us immediately after check in, delivering it straight to our room. Staff were also really helpful when recommending places to eat.

The property is two storey. There is no elevator in the hotel, so the stairs it was. Our room was a two bedroom suite. It was spacious with plenty of room for our family of five to be comfortable. One bed was closer to the door and the other bed in the bedroom. There was plenty of room for bags and the fold away in this room. A television in each room and a door separating the rooms was great for some space.

The bathroom was a good size and the shower had great pressure. The basin area was separate from the bathroom and there was only a small mini bar sized fridge in the room. Plenty of hanging space for longer stays. The front room was dark, with the only window opening up to the corridor, however the back room had plenty of natural light and a window which could be opened for fresh air.

There is a coin operated guest laundry down the far end of the property. We didn't use the pool area. The breakfast area was in the lobby and the breakfast was possibly one of the least catered in our travels. it was a poor selection of food items, it was a struggle to grab anything appetising. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are complimentary in the lobby.

The room was comfortable but the breakfast was disappointing as we were promised hot breakfast prior to our stay and received same bagged breakfast ( snack bar, fruit cup and stale muffin) daily. They could switch up or offer a limited breakfast. Also during a heat wave they had pilot light of fireplace left on ( creating extra heat)

I booked this hotel weeks before my trip, reserving a king suite. Only days ahead I realized the hotel doesn't have an elevator. My mistake. I called the hotel to discuss options. They were able to switch me to a double queen room on the first floor and adjust the price to reflect the room I did get. We also were allowed to borrow an extra chair from the dining area for our 5 night stay. We enjoyed the pool and used the first floor laundry room. Breakfast was very good most days but they didn't have all the choices one of the days. All of the staff was very attentive and accommodating to our needs. Hotel is decorated like a rustic hunting lodge with full mounts of various wild game in the lobby. There is a full service restaurant across the parking lot. There are a lot of things to do in Cody and it's about 50 miles from Yellowstone National Park.

I made our reservation in December 2020 for a hotel room in July 2021. My wife was going to have leg surgery ( which turned into 4 surgeries) so I requested a ground floor room. I called a week before our arrival and again asked for a ground floor room. The lady who answered the phone said they had it on file. When we arrived there were no ground floor rooms. I had to haul her medical equipment up the stairs by myself. There is also no elevator.
