Detailed Reviews
We were with a tour group and had no choice of where we stayed. Cabins seemed to be old and in need of updating. I would have preferred to stay in the Holiday Inn hotel that was a part of this Buffalo Bill Village. For breakfast, you could eat at QT's that was attached to the Holiday Inn and get a breakfast buffet for around $13, if I remember correctly. The buffet was very good. Easy walking town. We ate at Cody Steak House for dinner which was very good.

Thank you for taking your time to complete this review. You are correct, our cabins are a portion of Wyoming history. First to be commissioned in the early 20's to accommodate automobile tourism into Yellowstone National Park. While a guest of our cabins you are able to access the amenities offered by our sister property the Holiday Inn, including the outdoor pool. Our cabins have been updated many times over their lifespan, new carpet being installed within the last two seasons.

Staff was friendly, cabin was dated but comfortable. We asked for a refrigerator and microwave and they placed them in the room at no additional charge. Pleanty of hot water. Door was not snug and allowed air in around the door frame. Breakfast is not inclused and overpriced ($12.00) per person. Area is safe however these cabins are right next to a main roadway and you can hear the big rigs early in the morning. This family appears to also own the Holiday in and Quality Inn, located on the same property. If breakfast had been included, this would have been a good deal. So take you nightly rate and at $12.00 per person to that, then see if it is as cheap as someplace else what includes breakfast.

Nice clean rooms basic but very functional for 4- people! The service desk help was very disappointing and not customer-friendly! We stayed for 3-days without room service even after asking on the second day… upon return to the cabin, our room, our room was not cleaned or with fresh towels! Upon check-out, the older man at the customer service desk was not apologetic and never offered any compensation in anyway! Very sad to have this grumpy old man interfacing customers! Put him in back away from customers view or any interaction with people! Nice place but needs to improve customer service!

I was highly disappointed in my stay. I booked this hotel while on a road trip primarily so that I could have good internet for work in the morning. I was not given the password so I had to go back to the desk. Upon request, I was met with confusion. They DIDN'T even know the password for Buffalo Bill's so they gave me a couple to try. That internet wouldn't even work so then I called and they gave me the password to Holiday Inn's internet. That internet was so BAD that I had to sit in the busy lobby from 5 am to 1 pm with my laptops to be able to do my work. It was distracting and not a good work environment. When expressing my issues with the staff I was met with a "we don't care" or "can't do anything for you" attitude when this was the ONLY reason I booked a hotel with them in the first place. Also, the rooms don't even have microwaves or refrigerators so we asked the front desk to keep our stuff in a refrigerator for us and they told us they could not be liable for our things.

We were staying there the night before going to Yellowstone and the cabins are perfect to have an idea of the Adventure that we were looking for. The staff was really helpful and the cabins have everything that we needed: King bed, bathroom with shower, TV, refrigerator , etc. parking at the door of our cabin and looks like you are already in the park!

This was one of those bookings where the reviewers let me down! These “cabins” are one TINY room with an even tinier bathroom. There was only about 2 to 3 feet to walk around the king bed in any direction. The bed was quite hard and not very comfortable. The wardrobe for clothes was so short that my above the knee dress couldn’t hang without folding at the bottom. And while the room initially looked clean, when checking that we had all our stuff, we found someone else’s flip flops under the bed, as well as random beer caps and some other junk. The bathroom is so small that you can’t sit straight forward on the toilet as your knees don’t fit between the toilet and shower. And I’m 5’6”. There is no vanity. And the shower pressure was poor.
I will mention the positives, which were that the check in people were very friendly, and check in was very smooth and efficient. Upon checkout, I told them that the room wasn’t clean, and the lady did apologize, but that was all. I definitely would NOT stay here again.

This place is unique - I've never seen so many individual cabins on one lot. There is greenery and trees among them, but there are dozens of cabins and yet it feels very private in one. Each has private bath, HDTV, and very comfy beds but with the log cabin atmosphere. Very well placed for walking to restaurants in Cody, or walking to the next door hotel and catching the shuttle bus to the nightly rodeo.

We stayed two days here to make a two day trip to Yellowstone which is about an hour away. The cabins are behind the Holiday inn on the main drag and check in is at the gift shop. You get a real room key to get into your cabin and 10% off any gift shop purchase. The cabin was roomy and the bathroom was also roomy. The area was quiet and the beds were comfortable. This was everything we wanted. A different type of experience.

+1
I’ve been coming here since 2005, & each individual cabin is so cute & cozy, it’s easy to return!
My cabin had very comfortable beds, & it’s quiet—except for the window AC, which is needed. The bathroom is spacious, very clean, & beautifully updated—Kohler sink & faucets, etc.
These cabins are antique—built in 1914, I believe—so while Buffalo Bill was still alive!
There isn’t a microwave & dorm-sized fridge, so keep that in mind if you’re traveling with a cooler, or like heating up leftovers, etc: There’s no means to do that here!
There’s also a flat-screen TV, which I never turn on because I’m in the epitome of the Old Wild West, Cody, Wyoming!
By the way—the big gift shop where you check in & pick up & turn in your keys? It is one of the BEST gift shops anywhere in WY, MT, etc! Excellent selections of clothing, authentic Indian jewelry, kids items, souvenirs, gourmet food treats, etc. I always find wonderful items here to bring home to remind me of a great visit! You get 10% off your purchases when you stay here, too!

My in laws booked the “Suite” 2-bedroom with 3 beds cabin for 5 of us and as soon as we walked in we were all very surprised. The cabin didn’t look much like the ones on their website. It was tiny, had a queen bed as soon as you walked in then a bathroom which led to the second bedroom (jack and jill) with two doubles. I believe this set up would work for a family with two small kids but that is about it. The entire cabin was outdated and extremely cramped even for just two adults, it was also not very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful but that is about all that was great. Very misleading, would not recommend. You’re paying to sleep in a parking lot behind a comfort inn in a shack!

There isn't any in the actual cabins, but the park is adjoined to the holiday inn- you could use the ones in there.
