The manager and staff were extremely friendly and helpful; absolutely top notch. They really went out of their way to make our stay awesome. Free kayaks (seated and whatever the standing ones are called) and the lake not too busy, so was really peaceful to just take them out whenever we wanted. The balcony on the lake was nice, right up near Lake Como.
Very nice location on Lake Como, only 10 minutes from Lake Geneva. Quiet, fairly picturesque. We had first floor room with patio and nice view of the lake. We were welcomed warmly. Due to Covid, no continental breakfast, only bagged breakfast to go. Selections unimaginative (yogurt, bottled juice, chilled danish and prepackaged breakfast bars). King bed was comfortable, and there was a separate sitting room. All good, but the bulbs should be brighter for reading! Tub was in the bedroom proper which was turnoff for us. The shower doors were difficult to slide open and closed - quite sticky. The shower valve is set up backwards, i.e., get hot water before cold. Should be fixed before someone scalds themselves!
Reserved a room at this Bed and Breakfast with the thought that it would include a breakfast. Rooms do not look anything like they do online. Advertised as having a balcony and the room did with great views of the water. The only downside was that the balcony is not private and my neighbors were blasting John Denver which made relaxing on the balcony impossible. The breakfast in the morning was a bag that I was given at the front dest with granola bars and yogurt. No thanks. Will not book again. Very dirty and run down. No thanks.
We stayed for 2 nights in different hotel rooms. The rooms themselves are worn down, much more than shown in the photos. However the views of the lake are spectacular and some of the best water views in the area. Unfortunately though the current amenities are not aligned with what the hotel has advertised. We called the day prior to booking and were told to expect a continental breakfast delivered to our room each morning. Upon arrival, we learned that due to covid, breakfast was available for pick up in the lobby, which was understandable to us, expect for the breakfast offered was anything but congenital. Breakfast bags included a granola bar, string cheese, bag of trail mix, pre-packaged muffin, beef stick and yogurt. This is a complete departure from what was conveyed to us as well as the breakfast photos that love online. This was a huge disappointment and main reason we choose this property. Additionally, we paid a hefty price for our room due to the last minute booking and popular weekend to travel to the area. We had agreed to the price over $500 for a suite…however upon arrival we saw signs posted in each room that the hotel will not charge rates over $500 for a stay. Needless to say we will be following up with our booking site to for a refund and BBB as this is clearly in conflict of what the hotel has advertised.…
This was our third time staying here, and it just keeps getting better!! Eric, the General Manager, along with the ownership, continue to make significant improvements/updates to the property. This is truly a hidden gem in the Lake Geneva area, along with their resturaunt, Savoy. The Inn is set in a secluded area right on Lake Como. The rooms are very nicely appointed, especially the Luxury Rooms and the Cottage rooms. The service that Eric and his staff provides is stellar!! The guest experience is truly the priority here, and it’s apparent in every area of the operation. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway, in an intimate setting, with great views of a lake, a great resturaunt on the property, no crowds or traffic, and stellar service, you will find it all here!! My girlfriend and I travel a lot, and take many weekend getaways, and this is by far our favorite place to go! I can’t recommend this place enough!!!…
