We were left in the lurch when planning to go to Lake Geneva but having no one to take care of our dog over the July 4 weekend. Our best alternative was to find a motel where one of us could stay while the rest of our family was at our reunion, and take care of the dog there. The Crossroads Motel fit the bill but actually exceeded expectations. Management was incredibly kind and I was pretty upfront about what was going on - that most of our family would be in another town and hotel but we would have someone sleeping with the dog. The rooms were actually much better appointed than I expected and the air conditioning was really consistent and strong. Having a large fridge, microwave and a coffee pot is helpful for any stay. The cleanliness was top-notch. We did pay a little more for the July 4 weekend, but I think the typical rates are reasonable for this property. We ended up leaving a day early, and they were great. I recommended this place to all of my family in the area, especially dog people!

Nice and Clean rooms, friendly staff and great location . The room was very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. The shower gave a great spray of water. Overall great experience though! I'm definitely staying here again!!!

We had made Reservations for two Queen sized beds, and got two regular sized ones instead. We didn’t bring it up to them cause we liked the back corner where we were located. The room wasn’t too bad, though I didn’t take a shower there....

We recently stayed here while attending a concert at Alpine Valley. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Its an older place, but like I said clan and comfortable. The gentleman who owns the place was very Nice and friendly. It is a short drive to Alpine Valley and to Lake Geneva without Lake Geneva prices. If I was back in the area I would stay here again. Note some of the older advertisements say they have a pool, they do not, by we knew this before we booked. Because it is an older motel there are not a lot of outlets, I would bring a power strip.

This is one of those reviews that are difficult to write. My spouse and I find ourselves in places like this from time to time as we seek out the closest place to the activity we are attending and plan on spending little time in the room. The hotel is dated and worn, as a result it didn't feel clean. The drape cords were both broken and detached and the room smelled of heavy plug in deodorizer. There was an Orkin pest trap behind the dresser. The layout is funky with an exterior entry door and public hallway door. Everything in the room otherwise worked. This motel is worth about $60 a night but they are not afraid to charge double if something in the area is going on. The husband and wife that own or run the property are nice enough and they let us have an extra 30 minutes to check out without any hassle. When we asked for extra towels it was no problem. I would have to say that I would not stay here again unless there were no other options. There are some nicer properties not too far away.
