Room was a Suite. Very comfortable and luxurious. Beautiful view. Ate at Opus French Restaurant which was astonishingly good. Saw Fleetwood Mac Tusk Tribute at Belfry Music Theater. What a geat show. Belfry House BnB is close to everything: Lake Geneva, Williams Bay, Fontana. Beaches, Lake Path Hiking, air Balloon rides, Boat Tours, etc. It's a wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

Watch out Abbey.... Belfry House is here! Quaint and fabulously done from light fixtures to hardware! Brand new and nice and clean! I'm sorry we are only here for one night! even the toilet paper and lotion are quality... Not the usual cheap hotel crap. Most definitely I will return to this boutique hotel when in the area! Classy place and they even had a remote for the air conditioner! Attention to details!

The purpose of my trip was golf. Two nights @ Belfry (Mon/Tue) $555 total. I selected this hotel because I could not get a room at the golf course hotel, Geneva National. As previous reviews have indicted, the amenities are very nice in lobby and rooms. It's location is several miles from downtown Lake Geneva which is around an $24 Uber ride. I had to wait, on average, around 22 minutes for rides. FYI. The restaurant, Opus, is open TH through Sunday only which is not published on their web site. No food options on premises Mon/Tue/Wed. Access to rooms is done via keypad (no key cards). There are separate codes for access to lobby and your room which requires you to either memorize both, make note of both or carry the form they provide (without instructions). Upon my return Monday evening I could not unlock the door. When I went down to the lobby to get assistance, no one was there (@10pm). There is, however, a sign on the desk providing a phone number (for emergency only). I finally figured out how to enter code properly...had no choice really. The lock requires a four digit code along with another button (on top) to be pressed as well...I would have appreciated knowing that in advance. I stayed in a suite which was very nice. Furniture, linens, etc. are very high quality. Again, as others have pointed out, one very small trash can in bathroom. Also, it wasn't pointed out to me that the mini fridge, and it's contents, are included in room rate. This should be mentioned at check in but was not. There is no ice machine on premises. There are no USB ports in the room...so bring your charging block. Most hotels provide USB ports on lamps, clocks, charging pads or nightstands... There was cleaning staff present. After my return from golf on day #1, my bed was kind of made...not a big deal to me. Accent pillows on floor and regular sleeping pillows stacked on bed but comforter not pulled back. So not sure what service they performed in my room. There was something electronic that kept beeping throughout the night...I never located what it was but it was a nuisance. Ultimately, this hotel needs a service upgrade. And they need to be forthcoming on their website about being a "weekend" hotel. I would not have stayed if I had known the restaurant was closed. At the price being charged, I expected more.

The Belfy house is a new property in West Lake Geneva. I was fortunate enough to stay in the Premier Suite. Fit and finish are exquisite. Finest linens, bed sheets, and bath soaps and products. The mini bar is "open" and includes liquor. The furnishings are all five star if not six star. The washroom includes heated floors. Fantastic and warm fire place and the menu was laced with a tree leaf from outside. Very nice touch Unfortunately, I am unable to give the property more than three stars. It is missing the final touch of service and a few minor over looked items in the unit. First, will start with the unit. Some minor things other guests have pointed out. For one, there is an iron in the room, but no ironing board. There is also one teeny tiny trashcan in the CR, but that's it. Its a great place for entertaining, but doesn't have a dining room. Service tried but faltered. The hotel isn't staffed unfortunately. I tried calling the hotel several times before staying. Just got voice mail and no one returned the call. House keeping? There wasn't any. Could I call for it? I don't know. No one on staff and they don't answer their phones or call back. Early checkout? Unsure. Problem with the air conditioner making loud noises? No one to call. Once they fully staff the property and give the guest the service they are actually looking for, the property will be back to five stars

Where do I start... This hotel is an absolute delight! The attention to detail was beyond my expectations. We are normally use to staying in touch own if Lake Geneva.. or The Abbey in Fontana. So happy we decided to step outside our comfort and explore something new. The rooms are delightful, handsome and tasteful in style. The heated bathroom floors, fire place are an absolute perk. Perfect for a cold day's and night's. The restaurant onsite, was absolutely delicious. The Opus. Bud,Janice and Brianna were exceptional. Their people skills, recommendations and professional approach was appreciated. Chef Rami is a mastermind of culinary. I cannot say enough good things about the staff, room and experience. Can't wait to go back.
