We have stayed a few times at this property and the staff is superb!!!! Our last visit Julie greeted us for breakfast and made us feel like we were guests in her own kitchen. Very personable and delightful to chat with over breakfast. Our most recent visit we were greeted and checked in by Ross. He was so kind and genuinely cares about his guests stay experiences. He even joined us while we had dinner to talk and made us feel right at home. The other staff members that we have worked with have all been very nice. This is a fantastic place to stay. Extremely clean, friendly staff and excellent home cooked breakfast. 5 stars for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is hands down a great hotel for a good price. Wall is covered in awards and they deserve them. Place was so clean from top to bottom bathroom had to be the cleanest bathroom I have ever seen shower door glass was spotless. Breakfast was excellent. Had a nice indoor pool the entire staff was friendly and helpful. Very close to the casino easy drive.

As the title makes obvious, this hotel doesn't exactly live up to its award-winning status, but it's not a dive either. It's an average, fairly clean hotel. Nothing to write home about, and certainly not something worthy of an award. Some things to note: The beds are hard as a rock. For those with back problems (like me), it wasn't a pleasant-dreams sleep. Also, to be COVID-safe, a hotel employee serves the breakfast. It was kind of awkward, obviously for both of us - as the employee didn't seem quite eager to assist, but perhaps she was having a rough morning, so I proceeded with a smile and a word of gratitude for her service. Perhaps a different format of COVID-safe service would benefit, rather than having to stand there and tell an employee exactly what and how much of each item you and everyone in your party wants. Again, awkward. On the flip side, the front desk staff was friendly, and we were welcomed with cookies and popcorn at check-in.

On our way home, our alternator decided it wanted to be replaced. Luckily, we found ourselves at this wonderful little hotel for 2 nights. I am very particular about where we stay, especially in these times of Covid awareness. I could not have been more pleased with this stay. Room was spotless, beds comfy, and staff super friendly. I would stay here again without hesitation.

My family and I stayed at this location as part of our trip to move my niece’s family to Virginia for the Navy. Our day started off on the wrong foot with traveling through terrible rain that it delayed us arriving to the hotel until after 9pm. Andrew greeted us at the front desk and went over everything and chatted about the weather. He explained the breakfast in the morning and the hours and we were pleasantly surprised it would be full breakfast (with some service changes). I don’t think I can explain how much we appreciated hearing that as I assumed like many other hotels it would be possibly just grab bags of items that wouldn’t be hot. We were given adjoining rooms which worked out perfect so that we could all be near each other. Julie made breakfast a delight the following morning as she went over it with us as to how service would work and that she would plate it for us and bring our items to our table. This saved us time not having to leave the hotel and find somewhere that 4 adults and 2 children to get a meal and delay us longer on our travels. Thank you to Sleep Inn for having a wonderful staff at Cross Lanes that made our stay enjoyable!
