I did enjoy this stay for the most part but no one should ever have to worry about there things being stolen. From the start I didn’t like that I couldn’t see the parking lot from my room because I have a lot of stuff for work on the back of my truck. The lady told me not to worry that it was fenced in and theres “security”. I walked out to check my truck and trailer and there were people smoking weed and no “security” in sight. I paid $15 to have my vehicle broken into. And then told it wasn’t the hotels property when I called them. I won’t return and I don’t recommend.
Immaculate, modern, safe, and a friendly staff. I was in the area for my father’s funeral. I felt safe in this hotel as a solo female traveler. Sam at the front desk was so sweet at 4:30am as I was leaving for the airport and put together a to go breakfast. Highly recommend.
We just stayed at this location and I will never stay there again. The front desk consistently yelled at our kids to be quiet or to move out of an area. Even when they were sitting in the lobby sitting area just talking they were told to be quiet. In addition even the adults had the same experience where we were even told to keep our voices down, multiple times for just having some normal conversations. You would think this would have all occured late at night but no this was between the hours of 5 and 9. It felt like no matter what we did we were an inconvenience to the staff. All this while paying 4 star hotel prices for a 1.5 star hotel. There is nothing near by so I recommend staying on the southside of Charleston. We will make sure to also inform the travel agency of this situation to ensure this hotel is black listed from future events going forward.…
We stayed here several years ago for a few nights and I remembered I loved our stay. We stayed here again for a few nights and the walls/door was paper thin. Several times we were woken by loud cars/motorcycles leaving, desk staff talking or some sort of alarm going off within the hotel. The room was fairly clean but it definitely could have been cleaner. Bedsheets and towels had stains. Pillows were a bit flat. There was dirt/stains on the curtains. I had a bug in my arm in my sleep. It wasn't a bedbug, maybe a spider or silverfish? It was squished before it could be indentified. We didn't sleep well any night due to noise. We did ask for additional wash cloths as we had only been given one set and they gladly got them for us and the desk staff were friendly. We didn't eat any of the breakfast but it did smell good (we had plans everyday to eat breakfast with friends). Not sure what they could do about the noise, but I would suggest to the hotel to replace stained bedding and towels and maybe do a better job at cleaning.…
Everything here was good. The desk clerks were friendly/courteous/helpful. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The covid procedures were followed better than any place we have stayed. We had a room on the third floor and it was wonderfully quiet. We also had a nice hot breakfast, individually dished up for us. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
