Such hospitality is hard to get now-a-days with fast livin' , cheap AirBnBs, hotels and motels of today. But if you want to pamper yourself, slow down or take a breath or two - immerse yourself in the graciousness of this B&B. Lewis River B&B is purpose built with extremely well maintained, clean rooms, with fantastic views of the river. Breakfast is carefully prepared every morning, with locally sourced produce, and it will sustain you for the day until dinner. Coffee and tea all day, and snacks - There're no negatives with this place.
This was one of the best (if not the best) B and B we've stayed in (in the UK and US). It has a great outlook over the river, great breakfast and wonderfully welcoming hosts. Boris and Lisa make you feel at home and offer helpful advice about the local area including Mount St Helens. The rooms are a good size (ours looked out onto the river) and have everything you need. Very quiet and a/c if the weather needs it. We stayed two nights and on the second night we had a take out pizza (recommendation from Lisa) on the patio. They offered us crockery, cutlery and glasses and there is a refrigerator for guests to store their own beer. Lisa made my pancakes lactose-free which was lovely and we had a great omelette on the second morning. Great locally-made jams also. Nothing was too much trouble. This is a great location for Mount St Helens - only around 40 mins by car. The B and B was really easy to find. You'd be crazy to stay anywhere else in the area!…
Excellent customer care by super kind hosts, they have done everything to please us and make our stay unforgettable. The breakfast was lavish and in a very family-like atmosphere. In addition. We had a ton of explanations on the history of Mount St Helens
Boris and Lisa make you feel like family on your arrival. The rooms are very clean with comfortable beds, snacks and drinks always available. The inn is close to Mt St Helens an excellent place to visit and return for a restful evening. The cleanliness of the rooms and the fantastic food makes for a delightful place to stay.
We loved staying in this pretty B&B beside the Lewis River. Boris and Lisa fixed delicious breakfasts! Their helpful hints on area sights and eats made our trip memorable. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate are always available. The rooms are tastefully decorated with themes, comfortable, and clean. It felt like home! Most of the rooms have a river view. We loved staying in the Chinook with its large bay window. There are wonderful fishing spots and hiking areas nearby. It’s a drivable distance to Mt. St. Helens about 35 min to the Portland Airport. There are lots of great eating places nearby. Two days were just not enough!
