Very nice hosts. The sites are a little close about 20 feet between them. Well maintained. Marina close if have watercraft. Has fire pits but in rear of rv and pretty close to back of neighbors. All in all nice and would stay again as a home base for mountain visits.
Just found this fantastic place and what a surprise. The setting was perfect with the lake in front of our sites, moorage for your boat and fish in the lake. Walk over to the little island where tenting sites are and visit a miniature light house. The staff were so helpful although the restaurant is being renovated this summer there still was a small store. Clean bathrooms!!!! Yes we will return an for a longer stay next time.
We decided to try a new place on Mayfield Lake as the other RV park was full for the weekend we were available. We were disappointed by the lack of privacy at our site. The area for swimming at the lake was small. The views of the lake were limited and the configuration of sites were pushed together. Another downfall was the loud evening activities at the Lakehouse Restaurant area. Next time we'll probably try to stay at Ike Kinswa State Park.
We've stayed here a couple times in our RV. The people are very friendly. The facility is clean. It's pretty tight in the RV spots - but if you're there primarily for the boating - it works well. It's family friendly too. Don't have to worry about late night noise. They have all you need for a nice little boating vaca.
Rented a boat for a couple of hours fishing. And ate in the restaurant. Limited menu, diner type food choices, average price >$10. Staff seemed helpful and polite. Facilities were run down, but clean.
