Motel 6 raised prices because of the STP (Seattle to Portland) bike challenge. Room was about 3x normal price. If that wasn't bad enough, the motel did not have shampoo nor hairdryer. Cleanliness was okay, so remember to leave a tip for housekeeping as they are not responsible for the lack of basic amenities. We plan to avoid staying here in the future.
The reviews I read were off, way off! Staff is friendly and helpful, offered me a senior discount which I didn't realize they offered. Room was clean and had updated appliances. I was glad to know for a small fee I was able to have a room with a refrigerator and microwave. My room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. I would definitely stay here again when participating in a local dog event.
This motel was absolutely terrible. The front desk person said it was a certain price - plus tax, which was expected but when we got to our room we realized the card we used to pay for the night was charged 8$+ EXTRA - then we went up to the front desk and they told us they didn’t know what that was. Then we went back to our room and for over half an hour on the phone with the card company and online trying to figure out what it was they (the bank card company) said it was like a security deposit that we would get back in a few days to make sure that everything goes well- Nothing was stolen or damaged I’m guessing. But the person at the front desk didn’t mention ANY of that! So they wasted our time and now for the room itself- the water was old in the taps (needed to be ran) and there was dust everywhere and there was hair on the floor and in the bathroom (my guess is the “cleaner’s” hair) and it was very run-down and the a/c didn’t work at all just blew dusty air and that’s about it. It was in the negatives outside and felt just about as cold inside ALL NIGHT! No shampoo, conditioner, body wash, or lotion for shower. Sheets were musky-smelling and just flat-our smelled old and needed to be washed. They were such thin blankets it was freezing. Pillows were small and bed was uncomfortable. Shower was a cubical- like an old RV shower would be or smaller. No room to move as there was a big bar in the way and hair stuck to the walls. Towels were scratchy and literally HURT. Do NOT stay here.…
The only thing this hotel has to offer is a cheap rate !! The room stunk of cigarette smoke, I could not cool the room down. Turned the heat off and turned the fan on that didn't help. I had to open the door to the room to let fresh air in and cool air in. No shampoo !! No in room coffee!! The water in the shower and a very low flow!! Will not stay again !!!! No free wi fi !!!!!
This your typical Motel 6. You get what you pay for. Decent hotel. Small rooms. It is a remodeled Motel 6. Pool is ok rooms are clean. Parking lot is tiny and hard to get in. Just a decent motel to stay at cheap
