I have stayed in many Hamptons Inns and this was the oldest and most tired looking of them all. The staff was good but they could not make up for the way it looked. The price was very good, and it was a good location for restaurants.

Hi Mr. Whitehurst, Thanks for your feedback. Just wanted to let you know we have been fully renovated the spring of 2020 during COVID. All new beds, carpeting, furniture, window treatments and pool furniture. Our new look is more modern but other that everything is pretty new and unused until this year. Thanks for staying with us hope you return.

Hotel's Favourite
My wife and I stayed here in August of 2021 when we dropped off our son for his junior year at William & Mary. We usually stay at the Embassy Suites or Homewood Suites in Williamsburg but they were not available for this trip so we chose this hotel and we were very happy we did. We got the King studio and the room was great. We picked room 401 which was on the street side which I thought was a mistake because of the noise factor but we never heard any street noise and the view was nice so it was a fine choice. The room itself was great. It was very big and looked brand new. Everything was clean and worked perfectly. This was our first time staying in a hotel since the pandemic and we were very concerned about our safety but the hotel seems to take all the precautions necessary to keep us safe. Check in has a plexiglass barrier and all the staff wore masks in the open areas. Unfortunately, the same can't be said about the guests. But you can't control people. My wife and I were practically the only people wearing masks while we walked around the hotel. There were some people who did wear masks at breakfast though. Breakfast was limited due to the pandemic but it was good and enough. There was scrambled eggs and sausage, cereals, yogurts, bread, bagels, fruit and waffles. I am going down again in September for Parent's weekend at William & Mary and have already rebooked this hotel.

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for and I would recommend to anyone staying in the area near Williamsburg! The hot breakfast was nice. The room was clean. Drinks could be purchased at the front for $1. The indoor pool was heated and we always felt safe. We were close to everything, as we visited Jamestown and Yorktown. Definitely a must !

Very nice hotel and close enough to Williamsburg visitor center. They offered the full breakfast offering that you can find at any of the other hotels, but we drove a very short distance down the road to a great breakfast / lunch facility for a real breakfast. Room was good sized, big bathroom counter, big flat screen tv. Nice and quiet stay. My only complaint was the check-in person screwed up my payment details - of which I had already planned and booked online at Hilton's website! He said I booked using Hilton points along with credit card, even though I had my printed emailed receipt in my hand showing there were no Hilton points involved. He said I would have to go online to Hilton to correct. UGH! Next day the daytime manager assured me that my email receipt was correct and that I was only paying by credit card - but at this point all he could do charge a second charge to my credit card to make the total amount correct. The problem with the transaction handled in 2 charges is that I WAS going to use my TRAVEL credit card points to later pay for this stay - but now I would have to use twice the points since the total amount charged on my card were now 2 separate charges! UGH --- Thanx for screwing that up when I had it right all along!

My family and I stayed here for four nights in September. This hotel is located in the historic district, very close to the Colonial Parkway and Busch Gardens. Pros: We had room 123 on the first floor. The room was clean and quiet. We did not hear any disturbances in the hallway or from the rooms around us. Our room had two beds plus a pull-out sofa bed. There was also a comfortable chair, a stool, and small desk with an office chair, and a coffee table. A breakfast buffet was available starting at 7AM. The choices did not vary from day to day except for the breakfast meat (bacon, sausage). Cons: We were not told when we checked in that there would be no maid service for our room for our entire stay. When we returned the first night to unmade beds, I went to the front desk to ask. They told me that we could pick up towels at the front desk and to put the dirty towels and garbage in the hallway for pick up. They gave me 2 small garbage bags which would only fit one towel each, so we just piled them up outside the door. With the lack of maid service, I cannot give this hotel an excellent rating.
