Hotel is very old and looks it, Hall ways and rooms have a musky odor. Front desk gal is more interested in her phone than taking care of clients. We stayed at a lot of hotels over the last month and this one was definitely at the bottom.

Hotel's Favourite
This hotel is literally walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg. Busch Gardens and Water Country USA are a very short (<10 min) drive. There are several places to eat nearby, as well as the attached restaurant. Will stay here again the next time we visit.

After a long exhausting day we came into the hotel. Checked in and was in our room within 10 minutes. Slept like a baby. Bed was so comfortable. Everyone was so nice and polite. We will stay here again, if we go back to Williamsburg.

BEWARE!!! Stayed here August 10-13. It was a disaster from the start. I was charged twice and they wouldn’t give me back my money. I paid online through Busch Gardens website for my hotel and park tickets when I checked in at that hotel I was asked to swipe my card and we all know some places to this for security deposits or incase there is any in room charges. I noticed I was being charged $308.40 which was for my total stay. They told me they would fix it which it appeared they did until I was charged over a month later by this company for this cost. When I contacted them on September 29th I saw my on bank account that $308.40 so called the hotel and was told the ONLY person that could help me worked night would have to call me after 10 pm. At 11:15 pm on 9/29/21 I received a phone call. The person I spoke to was rude and disrespectful and after explaining the situation with several interruptions I was told they did not take the money from my account even though I could see it was withdrawn. I was told they wouldn’t return my money and to follow up with my bank to handle it. It is now the end of Oct and I have still not received my money back.

I am sorry for your troubles and I am in touch with the credit card processor - Shift 4 and will have this cleared with them shortly. I am sorry for night shift person response. Normally this is handled thru the credit card company but since they charged and we did not charge it, it has taken longer. I will stay on this until completed. Thanks GM

Front desk agent at check-in/checkout had a horrible attitude. When there was an issue at checkout (based on her mess up at check-in), she lied to her supervisor about the problem, said I just didn't want to pay, and was laughing and refusing to ask the supervisor to come down. Turns out, she did process my check-in incorrectly and caused the issue herself and didn't relay that to the supervisor. Housekeeping never touched the room - we asked each day for it to be serviced, even spoke directly to two housekeepers, but it was never touched. We had to go down every night for towels and even toilet paper, and wound up using gross pool towels for two days because that's all they have. Trash was never touched. At checkout I was told this was my fault for expecting service without putting a sign on my door - a sign I was never told to use, and it turned out didn't exist in my room. (My DND had English on one side and other languages on the other, no "please make up this room" on either.) The fact I spoke to multiple people and called the front desk for the requests didn't matter. The shower/tub didn't drain and the toilet took three or four flushes and we asked for these to be checked/fixed, they never were. When I revisited these issues at checkout, the agent used them to laugh at me and tell the supervisor that I was making it up so I didn't need to pay. I was told by the supervisor that due to the lack of communication regarding housekeeping, the room issues that weren't addressed, and the problem at check-in/checkout they would compensate for a night's stay, but that didn't happen. I'm fine with paying, but don't say you're going to do something and then not do it or communicate about it. The location is great and the room was fine, but the lack of basic customer service made this place one I never want to visit again.
