After fleeing our very disappointing B & B two days early, we had the very good fortune to move to the Inn At Willow Grove. Believe me this place does EVERYTHING right. At check in we were given a chilled glass of Prosecco and our room was luxurious and spotless. Also, DO NOT leave this Inn without dining in their superb restaurant.

Wow!!!! Charlene and David Scibal took a plantation home from the 1700’s and restored it into an epic masterpiece. And they didn’t stop there. The food, service, gardens, art... all working together in a siren song beckoning travelers seeking beauty and sanctuary If on a scale of 1-10 I had to choose a rating... definitely a 20!

Everything was exceptional from the moment we were greeted with Prosecco to the littlest of touches at turn down service. We stayed in Tenant Down which was close enough to the main building but looked out towards the pool and pond. Breakfast on the porch was the perfect way to start the day. Not to mention how delicious the French press coffee and beignets were. The body scrub at the spa was the best I’ve ever had and our dinner at Vintage ranks up there with some of the top restaurants we’ve eaten at. We visited with friends one of which is a picky eater, and I myself have a food allergy. Our tasting menu was carefully prepared with these restrictions in mind as well as still complimenting those at our table who had no issues. The menus even had our names at the top! Our only regret was going off-site for dinner the second night we stayed. That dinner was actually horrible. But when we came back on-site, the Pub at Vintage happily sat us even close to closing time. Inn at Willow Grove exceeded every expectation I had and without a doubt we will return in the future.

My husband and I got married at the Inn at Willow Grove in 2017, returned their for our first anniversary and have repeatedly returned for dinners at Vintage for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Wednesday Sampson makes accommodations for us, the folks at the bar are fantastic to chat with and always remember us. I highly encourage anyone looking for a special evening or even marking a life event at the Inn.

This was our first time venturing out in 14 months and I wasn't sure what to expect. I should have known that the Inn at Willow Grove would have taken care of everything to make sure that this was a relaxing, stress-free visit. We stayed in one of the Creekside Cottages, where we could be as isolated as we chose to be, and every moment from being greeted with what were surely warm smiles under the staff's masks to being seated for dinner in a private room of the on-site restaurant reassured us while making us feel welcome. The Inn is beautiful and the setting is lovely, but the best part is the sense of thoughtfulness and hospitality that pervades the entire experience. They try to anticipate your needs, but you only have to ask if there is something else you want and are happy to do their best to make it happen. We read with hilarity some of the negative reviews and can only surmise that some people are never happy. If you enjoy relaxing amid beautiful scenery and luxurious surroundings and are prepared to be pampered this is the perfect place.
