Quite frankly the most inept and utterly rude staff I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. I would not recommend staying here, regardless of how cheap it is. In addition the food is inedible, overall standard of the hotel is poor.

I do not feel they should be trading.

Stayed as we had a family party there. Room was quiet, clean and had everything that you need. Breakfast was good, could have almost anything you want. Reception staff very friendly. Would stay again, but Rochdale really isn't my cup of tea

Booked for two nights (13th and 14th November 2018 for a family funeral), and paid on arrival. Online photos of the property give it a sense of charm and quality which is far from reality.

Our room smelt like a sweaty teens room after a sleepover, stale and disgusting. We opened

Was this building ever a hospital ?
This hotel used to be a nurses home and during the war it was a convalescent home for injured soldiers

HI, We're thinking about coming for 4 nights starting 23 December. There's myself, my 15 year old daughter and two very house friendly dogs - a Labrador and a small Coton de Tuleur (who fits nicely into a shopping bag!). Is that OK - and have you any rooms overlooking the park?
"not got disabled access don't book if you cannot manage stairs"
"Don't book through Booking.com!"
"All rooms good - only one on the top floor did not have a bedside table"
"Don't go here......"
"Maybe try Premier Inn or Norton Grange rather than this hotel"
