A good 2-star hotel. Value for money. Clean a comfortable large room with a large balcony. Good breakfast. Good parking space. Dog friendly. Close to restaurants. Very friendly staff. I will certainly go back here again. Bathroom clean and all towels and soaps provided. Room cleaned each day.

This hotel is typically Spanish, a bit dated in terms of interior but super clean. Very friendly staff. Dogs are also welcome. Free parking and the breakfast is excellent, including 2 cups of coffee. We will definitely come back. Fine for 1 or 2 nights.

Hotel chosen for its location and because it accepts dogs. Great for a stopover on your way to Portugal. Spacious room with fridge and air conditioner. Good breakfast. The outdoor area, although close to the sea, does not offer much.

It is true that this is not very expensive but it is not good. We were shown two rooms, one had a bathroom so small you would not have been able to get two people inside. The other had a single bed where the base had collapsed, been propped up by putting another mattress underneath it but still was lopsided. The bathrooms are old, the terrace is large but looks out onto an array of old sheds and houses. An old fridge in the corner and 70s style furnishings do not a good hotel make. No, I would not recommend it to anyone.

We stayed for one night in this hotel.
The room was clean, large with an equally large balcony, there was a fridge available and free private parking.
The breakfast was simple, but good with fresh ingredients of the day.
Price / quality was great.
We will definitely be back next time.

My wife and I spent 3 nights here recently and found it ideal for our needs. The beds were comfortable. Staff was wonderful. Food was not gourmet but very good. Although it sits on a main road, we were never bothered by traffic noise. Parking was free and off the highway.

This hotel has its good points & bad. Free private parking & pleasant garden appreciated but we thought the rooms were rather hostel-like & ours could have benefited from a bit of attention. There was a nice large balcony though it needed a good clean, a rickety fridge, broken balcony door and patched up bathroom tap. We had travelled a long way from France and were very disappointed that the restaurant was not open for dinner. The last thing we wanted was to trail round looking for a restaurant so were reduced to buying picnic items from the supermarket nearby. Room OK otherwise - free WiFi, no hairdryer but I was able to borrow one from reception.
Pets allowed ( no charge ), breakfast included, staff pleasant and reasonable price.

So basically you get what you pay for here- perfect for a stop-over when you are in transit and just need a place to crash. We were in the process of moving and just needed to stop somewhere before reaching our destination. Important to us was finding a place that offered safe parking, since we lugged half our house in the car. The Duc de Vendome ticked all the boxes, and didn't disappoint us. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, breakfast was included and yummy, beds were clean and showers were hot- the car was in a gated area, and parking was free. Sure, the facilities and furnishings take you back to the 70s, but we got a good nights rest at a very reasonable rate, and that was all we were looking for.

Stopped at this Hotel whilst driving from France to Southern Spain. Hotel looked inviting from outside. Reception was very helpful, even organizing a very appetizing meal at 22:30. Parking is undercover and secure. Room was simply furnished, if rather dated, but very comfortable with efficient A/C. Whilst I feel that t is not an hotel that I would recommend for an extended stay, as a 'wayside inn' it provided all one could wish for at a reasonable price.

very expensive menu for what they offer, infima quality dishes, everything precooked and / or defrosted, I do not advise it at all, frozen bag potatoes, samfaina de bote, neither drink nor coffees
The old-fashioned place, needs renovations
