Fantastic

Stayed here 20th jan for 7 nights and cannot fault this hotel in anyway ....staff all great ....food outstanding and great rooms ...any problems adressed immediately ....will be returning here again for sure... Thanks to everyone for making an enjoyable stay ..

Are children allowed at this hotel if so is there a club or playground

Hi, children are allowed but no play area , just a small cordoned off pool. Hope I have been able to help.

Is there a supermarket close by

Hi , there are a couple of local mini marts , the spar is about a ten minute walk and is the best for essentials . However if you want a proper shop go to canica town and it has all you need , as it is basically up hill going and down hill coming back I wouldn’t rapecommend walking it , it’s only about 1€ on the buss and about € 4 in a cab . Whilst there spend some time to take in the culture especially the church . Hope this helps

Thinking of coming next August can you advise what the choice of food is like on the AI as my mum likes plain simple food and if the area is suitable for people who are older and less mobile as my parents cannot cope well with steep hills or too many steps ?

Breakfast has a wide choice - cereals, cold meats/cheese, fruit and yoghurts, cooked breakfast. (Cooked breakfast wasn't to my liking but my hubby had it every day). Lunch at the pool bar so a full menu to choose from - sandwiches, pasta, burgers, fish and meat dishes. Dinner - salads, soup, pasta then a mixture of cooked meat/fish dishes with vegetables. Lots of themed nights. Make use of the a la carte restaurant during your holiday if you go (once per holiday). All Madeira is very hilly. A short flat prom in Canico outside the hotel - about a 5-10 minute walk from end to end.
