What a cool hotel! This unique hotel was wonderfully maintained, comfortable and fun to stay in. I found it was affordable but offered a lot of luxuries that you would find in a more upscale hotel. It is located just blocks from the beach and about a 10 minute walk from the port with a bunch of restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very helpful with suggestions of activities and transportation. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was comfortable but VERY difficult to find initially. There was no door to the shower, resulting in a flooded bathroom every time we showered.
There is a weird window between the bedroom and the bathroom, with no way to close or shutter it, and so anyone in the bedroom had a view of the bathroom!
No towel hooks in the bathroom.
The beds were old and creaked with every slight movement.

Our reservation was for a standard room, very nice but extremely small and with ventilation arriving directly on the bed. We opted for an upgrade and it was definitely worth it. The room was spacious, with a bonus Jacuzzi available.
The staff is really helpful, smiling and very efficient. Special thanks to the person when looking for doctor.
I forgot, the breakfast is hearty, varied (sweet, savoury and Greek specialties) and delicious.

We had stayed at this hotel for a few days last summer. All seemed well. We rebooked for a 12 day stay this year. We upgraded the room to the Jason master suite and on arrival, we were not pleased. On the balcony, one brown chair, no freedom of movement. The view was rusted equipment on rooftops. The room had a musty smell with no sunshine. The little view on the lower floor was limited, closed in, no sun. We changed the room out to a lesser cost but management was unwilling to offer us any form of financial compensation. The unfriendly manager, Kiki, offered a free pass for one time to use their limited indoor spa, but only certain things. This space is also smelly and musty. For the most part, the management and staff were not friendly. No greetings when coming and going. The included breakfasts featured everything served cold to include the eggs, bacon and the like. The daily breakfast never waivered in offering the same items. Our recommenation, do not waste your money here.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Apparently this hotel found a loop hole and removed reviews. So they don’t share the truth about the kind of people who work there. We were lied to and coerced into paying an astronomical fee. When we asked about it and protested all the men in the hotel hovered around us in a quite threatening manner. If you value integrity, stay somewhere else

In my 47 years of traveling all over the world, I have never come across the rudest, condescending, and unhelpful manager and front desk staff.  I read some of the negative reviews regarding this hotel and they are not wrong.  The only reason I give a 2 star is the breakfast and staff were good and attentive in their duties and the hotel was close to the beach and town center.

We had a problem with the room the hotel had placed us in.  Our travel agency booked a deluxe standard room for two.  We were placed in a smaller version of an American size studio room.  The shower (all see through glass) and wash sink were in the sleeping area, not a separate closed off room with the toilet.  It least the toilet had a door.  You could see a person showering while you laid in the queen size bed, that barely fit in the room.  There was barely any room to walk around.  The closet was behind the door to the room.  Meaning if you opened the door to the room you could not get to the closet.

Our travel mates were placed in an appropriate sided room as per our booking receipt.  When I brought this to the attention of the front desk they told me it is what I book.  Which was incorrect. They took it to the manager or someone I thought was the manager.  She walked up, never introduced herself and ask how could she help me.  I informed her about the room size and she asked if I would show her the room.
We walked over to the room and she stated it was the correct size. I told her it was not the same size and our travel mates were in the size the travel agency had booked.  She looked at the rooms (right next door to each other) and told us there were the same size.  We all looked at her like she was high on something because you could definitely tell that one was a studio and the other was a deluxe standard.  You could see the closets were no where near the same size, one had a actual bathroom and one had a closet for the toilet with a shower in full view of anyone in the room.  Both had queen beds and there was plenty of room to walk around in one where the other barely had any room to maneuver.

The person we assumed was the manager said they did not make a mistake.  She told us we were only there for two nights so what is the problem.  We showed her the booking receipt, my girlfriend asked if there was something the manager could do and she said "no there is not".  Her tone towards us and actions were very condescending and dismissive.  I didn't care if we were only staying 5 minutes, we were owed what we paid for and we called the travel agency.

The problem did not get solved until the travel agency called the hotel and 10 minutes later we were in a different type room.  Not the same as our travel mates, but a lot closer and tolerable.

The manager or whomever she is acted like the Argo Boutique Hotel was the only game in town.  It is not.  If you want to be treated fairly and like you matter as a human, be aware this manager and her front desk staff need an attitude change.

Great hotel with a short distance to both the beach and the city center. Relatively new, with nice interior both in common and other areas. Lovely breakfast with great selection. Clean and nice. Nice service who picked us up on the boat when we arrived. We went to the boat when we left since it is only 15 min walk away.
