Went there with my girlfriend for ten days in August. We stayed in sea view room and even though in the pictures it looked a bit bigger, it was very nice, with a nice bathroom and always very clean. The beach was also very nice and the sea was great for staying even a long time inside the water. There was some seaweed but just in the first 2 meters: as soon as you went more than knee-deep the water was cristal clear. There is a bar on the beach where you can get your drinks and some snacks, all respecting the COVID regulations. The service was the best thing about the hotel, together with the beach: everybody was very nice, always with a smile on their face and even if there was a lot of work to do and in abnormal conditions (all waiters wore face masks or face shields all the time and it was also very hot). A special thanks goes to Nasos at the beach bar, great guy and served some very nice cocktails; to Manos who was at the buffet and was very nice and always fast in serving us water; last but not least was a waiter who I saw on the tag that he’s a trainee, I believe his name is Andreas. He always served us with a massive smile on his face, learned quick what we usually ordered to drink and sometimes even brought us the drinks just by a sing or an exchange of looks. If I was a hotel manager, that’s the kind of employee I would want to work in my hotel.
The only negative thing about the vacation was the food: we are difficult clients regarding food because we are Italian and also I’m sure COVID restrictions limited everything, but some nights it was too repetitive and some dishes weren’t that good in our opinion. The Italian restaurant was okay and the Greek restaurant was good.
We would have given 4.5/5 in the review but my girlfriend forgot her ring in the safe, and after we contacted the hotel, they informed us that they found the ring and that they shipped it to us. That shows great honesty from the staff and a serious way to do business.

Where to begin!!! We have just returned from 10 fantastic nights at this resort!
Firstly with a massive Thank you to ALL staff at Fodele Beach Resort & WaterPark. Each & Every member of staff are Amazing! So friendly & cannot do enough to make your holiday an holiday to remember forever. receptionists, restaurant team, bar staff, Water park lifeguards, concierge guys and the Animation/Entertainment team.
The resort Setting is simply beautiful, the private beach is a stunning setting with plenty of sun beds & parasols, a lovely beach bar which is all included in your All Inclusive package (apart from the branded Ice lollies) Water sports are available on the beach for an extra cost! We used the PaddleBoards, Jet Ski’s and the bounce sofa on the sea, all were Great fun. They also take professional photos of your water sport experiences that you can purchase all of for an extra 20 Euros. The sea is warm, beautifully clear & calm.
The resort WaterPark is fantastic fun and great exercise with all the steps to climb.
Now talking of steps. (This was no problem for us) The resort is built into a steep mountain so there are ALOT of steps to get around! There is a resort train that runs between 10am -6pm everyday so you can hop on & off as you please to get around!
The main restaurant is Buffett style (drinks are served to your table) with a great choice of food for breakfast, lunch & dinner! There is also another lunch restaurant next to the main pool also with a great choice of foods. There is also a themed Greek & Italian restaurant on the resort that you can book once during your stay. On this subject, I should mention, I have Coeliac Disease and was personally shown around the Buffett by chef for lunch & dinner so I knew what was safe for me, if there was anything I wanted that wasn’t on the Buffett the chef would cook me a separate meal of my choice. Gluten free breakfast was served to me every morning and I was offered a Gluten free lunch pack up everyday! Gluten Free lager was also included 😋
Kids club looked to be great fun even though our 2 children didn’t attend as they are getting a bit old for it these days!
There is a Shop outside the front on the hotel! Expensive but they have everything you may need.
The main pool was a bit chilly but it is only May and it didn’t stop anyone getting in. There is an under cover heated pool if you prefer.
We upgraded our room to a 2 Bedroom Family room Which had 2 bedrooms (both had T.V’s with a good choice of channels) with great wardrobe & drawer storage space, 2 bathrooms, a lounge and a huge terrace onto a garden. Rooms were cleaned daily along with fresh towels everyday if needed! The pool/beach towels can be collected by the main pool and these can also be changed daily. There is evening entertainment every evening and we enjoyed it all! The Animation/Entertainment Team work their backsides off and they are all lovely.

We have just returned from a week at the hotel. It was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 1 child age 8 The hotel was very very quiet due to the current situation, which although very sad, worked in our favour.
The food was so good, lots of choices and variety. 2 of us are vegetarian, and it was the best all inclusive we have stayed in for veggie options. The restaurant staff served the food to us, all food was labelled clearly, it was replenished regularly, and a lot of the hot options were cooked in the restaurant so were always fresh and piping hot.
The staff at the hotel deserve a special mention, they were so accommodating and friendly. Our waitresses were just lovely, the greeters and supervisors always had a chat as we entered and left the restaurant.
The water park kept our granddaughter well occupied, it was very quiet, due to the restrictions. The lifeguards were brilliant and had a lot of banter with our granddaughter, which she loved
The beach was clean and just a few moments from the hotel. Sea crystal clear, but we did need beach shoes to get in.
If you’re looking for a chill out week with great food and attentive staff, this is the place. We loved it.

Fodele provides a special level of holiday service in either hotel facilities or customer courtesy so that you never worry about anything except how to enjoy your stay! We got our room in an all-inclusive package so that we were using most of the hotel services free of charge. You will receive a complete description and manual at the hotel reception at arrival plus a nice mobile app that guides you through the hotel facilities and places. The resort is placed on top of a beautiful hill with a dedicated sand beach.
There are some restaurants with different recipes and designs so that you can get your desired food and drinks at any time of the day and taste various flavors; plus several bars with nice service.
You find three swimming pools in the main area of the hotel plus some other ones in the water park section at the top of the hill. They are clean and beautiful surrounded by plenty of sunbeds ready to enjoy the sun.
They offer a full range of activities and entertainment either for adults or children so that you can always find a lovely activity to enjoy.
I think most of their services exceeded my expectations, though as their place is a bit far from the city, I would liked to see a hotel transport service to the city, once or twice a day. But it's not a big matter of concerns, the city is still accessible by taxi.
Among all, I can name particularly their nice staff, delicious food, lovely beach and high quality of service. I strongly recommend the place and looking forward to backing there next year.

Fodele Beach Holiday Resort has truly been a fantastic experience for several reasons.
As a 19 year old, it was most refreshing and nice to go to the sporting activities such as table tennis, which were all appropriately sanitised before every event. From this, we quickly became good friends with members of the pink wave animation team- Lorenzo, Hilary, Dominika, Alex and Roberta. Special mention to Lorenzo who was a great friend to me and an even better beach volleyball player! Finally, Dominka, who is a great entertainer and friend, Thank you!
Importantly, the TUI animation team- Lena, Sarah and Sarah- were also so caring and kind throughout. They'll be missed, but I can't wait to see them again!
Fodele is genuinely lucky to have these balanced, kind and adaptive animation teams.
In other respects, there was very little wrong with the hotel. The staff, the facilities, the events and much more were all top notch, would definitely recommend to anyone.

We looked at this hotel based on the facilities for children, our room was moden we had rom 392 and very short walk to everything which wad the ideal location as this hotel is on a steep hill. I would recommend a mountain view room due to how close you are. We went to the water park which was great for all ages had around 8 slides and pools also has a hotel bar there and small amont of snacks due to being at the top of a steep hill I would recommend getting the hotel train shuttle which runs every 10 minutes. The beech loungers are part of the hotel so no charge also has a hotel bar there part of the all inclusive with snacks, the water is so clear and not deep at all. You have some water sports at the beech you can do which was reasonably priced. We went to the beech most days we stayed. The food was good, due to covid and restrictions the staff serve you your food which you can go up as many times as you want. You have a great view of the sea and mountains while eating. The evening entertainment my child really liked he is 3 and half, only a hand ful of songs in English the rest was i think german but this might be because hardly any English was here due to covid holiday restrictions. Hotel had a large bar outside which serve cocktails from 17:30 part of the all inclusive and a bonus is some branded drinks are also included all day. The hotel has many many swimming pools but we only use the ones at the top in the water park, hotel has around 6 bars. We did nit leave the resort so cannot comment on anything outside the resort. The staff was great from the restaurant staff to the bar staff, the porters to the reception staff all was polite amd helpful not one negitive experience. This is a great place to go if your looking for all inclusive with a beech included snd I would highly recommended. The hotel shop is well stocked. Unfortunately I can only recommend against booking this hotel. We have stayed in a lot of all inclusive hotels over the years and this is by far the worst, despite being by far the most expensive. 5* is more like 3*…. I will try and explain a few of the reasons for the poor review and hopefully that will prevent you from making a similar mistake.
1) Check in was a very underwhelming experience, we were given rooms which didn’t match the description booked and then the reception staff tried to fob us off with the poor rooms. It was only after complaining and going through paperwork showing room descriptions did the note change us to something remotely resembling what we booked. This was the start of the service we went on to receive. 2) Rooms whilst being ok in terms of appearance, the walls are paper thin resulting in being woken up constantly throughout the night/morning etc. I’ve never slept soo badly on holiday and heard the same complaints from a number of guests. 3) The al a Carte restaurants are terrible, we walked out of one… basically buffet food brought to the restaurant. You can book once a wk, we were staying 11d and still could only book once, mind you wouldn’t have returned. 4) Buffet restaurant is average and after the period we stayed became a bit of a chore. We ended up paying to eat out to get some good quality food. I’ve never been to a hotel on the sea with soo little fresh fish etc…. 5) Service is very hit and miss, some staff are very friendly some give the impression that are doing you a favour and just shun you…. Needs a lot of work. 6) Whilst covid safety felt good, covid was an excuse for a lot of restricted service. For example - pool bar downstairs never open, spa closed apart from massage services, food during the day in beach/pool bars consisted of rolls and fruit no hot food. 7) Entertainment was ok but nothing to write home about. Everything seemed to be to serve the German market. 8) Waterpark, whilst is good for younger children, for the older ones the slides are very outdated and nothing in comparison to better resorts. Also doesn’t open until 10:30am resulting in a mad rush for sun beds. 9) Mini bar in room was advertised as included but for some strange reason it was free in one room and had to pay in the other two. Whilst I reluctantly did, only for it to not be filled on a number of occasions.
Unfortunately I think there are too many issues with this resort, which are beyond resolution to ever consider returning and I’d strongly recommend you look elsewhere before booking.

Just returned after spending two weeks family holiday all inclusive at Fodele beach hotel.
This is not the first hotel that is 5 star that we have stayed in and I was very surprised how much it fell short.
The first four nights of our stay we had very loud music being played in one of the downstairs rooms. We complained to the main reception and asked for a room change but was told it was the busy season and no other rooms were available. The lady on reception also told us that the music was coming from the entertainment or possibly from another venue on site,I did also explain that this music was playing between 12.00 midnight onwards and all functions had finished by this time.I was asked to leave my mobile number for feedback but I never received any calls,I later passed on the same complaint to the holiday rep and she did telephone the hotel manager but I still didn’t get any feedback and had to endure 4 nights of loud music.
The main restaurant for breakfast and evening meals you had to queue because the doors were shut due to it being full, some holiday makers found this unacceptable and went straight to the front and because they made a scene they was allowed in, leaving the people in the queue frustrated.In the evening while queuing a member of staff gives you a glass of bubbly while waiting,oh dear is this to stop people being frustrated. Breakfast time there’s only one toaster which you have to put through twice for it to cook,not everyone has toast for breakfast but still created a queue. We we’re very surprised at the amount of flies also in the main restaurant, some on food. The bars in this hotel have no waiter service, this is the first 5 star hotel that I’ve stayed in that I’ve had to queue at the bar.
The main pool area there are not enough sun beds,there’s plenty on the beach and they do a drinks and buffet area,but if you want to eat in the all day restaurant,where the food is much better you have to make your way back to the main pool area. If you want a sun bed by the main pool you need to be up very early come 8am and all sun beds have towels on them.If you have small children this is impossible.
Remember this hotel is on a hillside and has many steps and there is a train service that holds approximately 20 people and does get quite busy within a return around time of 20 mins.
This 5 star holiday was all about queueing, this wasn’t a holiday.
The hotel is in a beautiful location,stunning views of the sea,but it quite clearly has staffing issues.The staff work extremely hard,but can’t keep up with busy times. Customer satisfaction is very important in any hotel but I’m afraid this hotel being 5 star fell well short.we didn’t feel valuable and when you work hard all year and just need a good holiday we didn’t experience that.

We stayed at Fodele beach for 4 nights in august having booked directly with the hotel. Unfortunately it didn’t meet our high expectations taking in to account the cost. There are some positives, the water park is good for kids and staff generally friendly and helpful but other things were disappointing. Our room (a family suite) and the main pool area were tired. Pool area had broken tiles damaged grout, peeling paint etc. Same in the room with mouldy sealant in shower, damage to cupboards. There weren’t enough loungers at either main pool area or water park resulting in the early morning towel scramble. The hotel claimed it removed any unattended towels at 10.30 but we never saw that happen. Main restaurant was not bad despite queues to get in at peak periods (wine handed out by management to appease impatient diners) and being a bit repetitive. We ate at both a la carte restaurants. The Italian was good but service sketchy (tapenade oil and balsamic brought to the table but we had to ask 3 times for bread), and the Greek one service was so rushed that main appeared before you finished stater. Entertainment for adults and teens not great. All inclusive rules a bit restrictive, certain drinks only being available after 5.30 (the cocktails are good when allowed!) and would have hoped for better ice creams etc (could get scoop ice cream from all day restaurant but no lollies etc). Wouldn’t choose to visit here again and wouldn’t recommend to friends looking for 5* experience

Hello Ella, there is a pool at the water park next to the pool bar without slides that you can swim. Is about 5 minutes walking from the main facilities but there is a little train and club cars that go up and down very regularly.
