More than a place in the world, a house is a place in one's heart. El Patio del Malinche is more than just another hotel, it's a dream come true. Our interest to live in a different culture and to get to know new horizons took us to the ancient town of Granada. The sun-dried bricks of Granada's old walls and the hospitality of its people bewitched us. By restoring an old colonial house we relived a life of peace and serenity created by its inside patios full of history. We hope our guests will be able to revive and share with us the atmosphere of other times. We will be delighted to share our house, where life pours from every corner.

Spent a week at this lovely hotel. Rooms were simple: clean, comfortable . Location was just perfect for us, close to all the main eateries, the central park, the cathedral, the chocolate museum, the town's museum and a short walk from the lake. The staff were wonderful, so helpful and friendly and always went the extra mile. We had a lovely, relaxing and most enjoyable stay here, our first trip to Nicaragua. And Granada itself is a lovely lovely place for a holiday. We loved the market, the churches the islands, the volcano , the Apoyo Laguna and the fantastic atmosphere of Calle la Calzada and its restaurants and the surrounding areas. Loved dropping into the swimming pool at the end of a hot day's sightseeing before relaxing in a rocking chair or hammock before hitting the town for dinner and a post prandial drink or two. Would highly recommend this lovely place.

Really loved our 2 night stay at this hotel. Staff were friendly and pleasant on check in and throughout our stay. We had the lovely room D which had good views of Mombacho as well as lovely space and bathroom. Only annoyance was going upstairs with luggage but well worth it. Honesty bar by the pool was a nice touch , and kept us refreshed while we had a dip in the pool daily. Breakfast was simple yet effective and set you up well for the day. Would highly recommend the location as only a couple of blocks from main plaza and main thing is it was clean ! Stayed here 1st to 3rd of March

This hotel is located in an excellent location - only a couple of blocks from the main square. On my arrival a large group was expected so I was upgraded from a standard to superior room at no extra cost. The room and bathroom were large with TV, WiFi and a very efficient ceiling fan. There was 3 choices for breakfast that you ordered the night before letting then know what time you wanted it. I went for the “Malinche” each day and consisted of a plate of fresh fruit to start with juice, followed by eggs, sausage, bacon toast and jam. You helped yourself to coffee and tea. The pool was clean and refreshing and separate pool towels were offered. The staff were friendly and helpful and always ready to help if required. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
