Situated in a prime, quiet location on the island away from the hustle and bustle, Harley Moon Hideaway is a bright, modern Resort offering 7 modern bungalows with and a unique red swimming pool. All garden bungalows overlook the garden and the pool and has it's own outdoor patio. The budget/backpacker rooms are behind the garden chalets. Harley Moon offers personalized attention to guests and is set in a lush tropical garden with views of the mountains and the jungle and on the doorstep to public transport and restaurants. There are two beaches within walking distance from the Hideaway and many other beaches good for swimming in a radius of 5 km which can easily be reached by taxi or motorbike. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance from the Resort. The Resort offers breakfast as an optional extra. All chalets are serviced daily. Garden chalets are air conditioned and have a mini bar. Budget/backpacker rooms have a fan and no air conditioner, mini bar, safe or fridge.

I found Harley Moon to be very clean with beautiful gardens and very helpful owners. It is small and intimate with the beach a short walk. It was probably the tidiest property in Ko Chang. Restaurants across the road as well as scooters for hire.

Dear Macsmee Many thanks for your review and saying that the property is stunning, small and intimate - this is exactly the ambiance we try to create for our guests who just want to get away and have a good holiday in surroundings where they are not merely a number. The beach close by is stunning and also very small with not much activity or noise and or course a nice tikki bar on the beach as well where guests can enjoy sundowners - we often do at beer-o-clock..... It was nice to take you to other spots on the island and just to chat. Yip - everything is within walking distance from the resort which makes it easy to get out and about. We needed a place to stay relatively long-term and pretty quickly, so we booked Harley Moon as it had good ratings, it was reasonably priced, and most importantly it was on a part of the island that generally isn't too crowded and noisy. As you can probably see from the other reviews, the hosts Cheree and Tom were attentive and helpful in every way possible. Lisca beach is easily accessible, along with restaurants, minimarts and massage parlours. Good stay, would do it again!

This is a great place to stay and explore the Island of Ko Chang. The Island of Ko Chang is large enough to explore in a couple of days using a scooter and that’s where Harley Moon scores the points over its rivals. We booked here for three days and were so taken with the place stayed for a further 3 days. Harley Moon is run by Tom and Scree who are very hands on and full of great tips of where to eat and what to see. Tom spent half an hour with us showing us the best restaurants and places to visit. He also arrange for a diving trip with Ko Chang divers who are also to be recommended. Harley Moon is not in the main tourist areas but there are a number of decent restaurants within a 100m, places to get your laundry done and hire a moped on the doorstep along with a sandy beach used by the Mecure hotel 200m along the road. We had a cabin room which was spotlessly clean, with AC, large shower, safe deposit and fridge but also had little touches like a blue tooth speaker. Wi Fi was the best we’ve had in our 6 weeks of travel and the pool was refreshing and a welcome break before beer o’clock on the terrace. It was Valentine’s Day during our stay and we were touched to get a small gift. Breakfast, cooked by Tom, was delightful and well above the staple food we had enjoyed at other hotels. We enjoyed walking to the sunset bridge, down the side of the property and watching the sunsets. Great place, well located for a quiet getaway run by caring hosts.…

Hello peterpan45 What a cool name you have on this site! Peterpan - well suited! Thank you for your very detailed review of the island and the resort, it is much appreciated that you have taken the time to share your Harley Moon experience with other readers. As you rightly say, our village is not right in the tourist area, but within very easy reach of everywhere especially as it is easy to rent scooters close by and the taxi route is just outside the entrance area. Close to the Lisca Beach which has that cool tikki bar/restuarant, Bang Bao and of course, the party area, Lonely Beach. Which by the way, as I am sure you found out, has one of the best sunsets on the island. Wi-fi is very important to our guests and of course, to us as well. I don't know how people get by without wi-fi these days. I will convey your comment to Tom and we are pleased you enjoyed your staple breakasts here in the mornings. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They provide comprehensive information about the area and places interest on the island. Breakfasts prepared by Cheree are very tasty and varied. Both the rooms and a common space are very clean. The resort, tastefully decorated, has beautiful garden with clean red pool and sunny terrace. The calm beach is 5 minutes away. Harley Moon is a perfect place for relaxing.

After late arrival, everyrhing was waiting for us. Next day the wel ome was very warm by Tom and Cheree. This is What is meant by hospitality! Tom explained all highlights and Cheree helpen us booking stuff and so on. breakfast great (Tom is a creatieve cook), room perfect, staff very kind. Room absolutely beautiful. Modern, pristine and well designed. Great space. Very helpful hosts - accomodating and full of helpful info. Staff are lovely and cleaned the room beautifully every day. Garden is also kept pristine. Pool area looks immaculate and well laid out. Breakfast limited, but a good choice of cafes just over the road, as well as some great restaurants in the evening. Location wise, there is a small beach within easy walking distance and Lonely Beach is just a short taxi/moped ride away. Very happy to be provided with Trash Hero water flasks for duration of our stay and offered free water refills here :)

The location is good as you rightly point out it is close to everything one needs. We spent 7 nights at the Harley Moon. Our host Tom and Cheree looked after us from the moment we booked and made every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible, and they are both absolutely great company. The service and cleanliness are awesome, and the atmposphere very relaxed.
