What a charming B&B! The hosts are friendly and accommodating. Rebecca is a sweetheart. Meri (owner) happy to do whatever to make stay perfect. Room upon arrival contained welcome gifts, including local travel guides, bottled water, mints, and a tin of cooks. Room well appointed and decorations included antiques/family heirlooms. Room had private bath, tv, and individual ac unit (individual heat unit was in closet). And free wifi. Breakfast was exquisite! Madeline the chef prepared 5 star offering each morning. Servings were way more than I could eat. Home includes a nice sitting porch, back veranda had nice covered eating area. Large lawn was nice touch. There was also a sitting room, to just chill out in This place is pet friendly and in a safe neighborhood for walking. Easy walk to quaint downtown area. Parowan is a historical area and easily explored. Easy access to freeway. Don't pass up a stay here. I used it as a home base for visiting Bryce Canyon and Zion. Though each were a bit if a drive, it was nice bit to have to change hotels as frequently and besides, it was so worth it!…
For the second time this year we made it back to this splendid location. Resting in their historical and cozy rooms readied us for the coming miles. Breakfast and wonderful conversations with Ms. Bonnie and staff set a uplifting tone for our days to come. Already planning our next visit back because it's that amazing. #sistercrush #bigandlittlecasino #goteamlizzie #readyforcovid20 #going4four #stylishandmatchy #winwinwin
Someone was staying for a long period in the room we reserved, so we were upgraded to the beautiful Bee Room. The accommodations were beautiful, and reminded me of staying at my Grandmother's home in Illinois by Lake Michigan. The manager, Bonnie, Meri's mother, is gracious, interesting and a lovely woman, both intelligent and kind. The woman who does the breakfasts could give programs on her experiences around the world, delightfully interesting and a superb cook. The stay was really exceptional all the way around, despite the terrible heat in St. George (108F at the time). Thank you Bonnie and Madeline.
My family and I actually stayed here a while ago, prior to this whole Corona virus issue. I'm not one to write reviews, but I remember telling my husband after our stay to remind me to leave a review. Well, he didn't! Haha. It wasn't until I was home, with nothing to do being locked in the home due to Covid, that I remembered to leave my review. The place was amazing, historical and filled with great energy. My husband and I woke up and did not want to leave. The food was great! Anyway, this review is too long, but GO! TAKE A TRIP THERE AND YOU WON'T REGRET IT! We are going back after this is all over!
A splendid experience all around...pleasant surprise from a normal hotel...Could feel 150 years of welcoming safety...Bonnie was a ray of sunshine during a snowstorm...planning our next visit as we drive away. Signed, Idaho building Inspector and Son. #sisterwivescrazy #becauseIcan #sistercrush
