Blue Mountain RV park is a wonderful place to stay. It was clean with nice sites. The best part was the staff. Both the woman I first spoke with, Adam and the one who was there at check-out, were accommodating and helpful and made us want to come back to the area. Even though it was a one night stop on the way to Colorado, because of them, we are considering making that area a destination vacation. The history of the area, the Anasazi ruins, 4 wheeling, fishing, hiking, biking and many, many other things to do in town and nearby, left us wanting to come back and stay longer. And of course, stay at Blue Mountain RV park.
A beautiful park. Very well maintained. The back-in sites along the back fence offer you a beautiful view of the sunset each evening. The trading post offers beautiful treasures to purchase. We enjoyed the staff and didn’t feel crowded in like you do at some RV parks. Only issue we had was a weak internet but in truth, it was nice to be off the grid.
Nice already, they are making even more improvements. The staff was friendly and very helpful. This is the perfect place to explore many of Utah's parks and natural areas including Bears Ears and Natural Bridges National Monuments.
Stayed one night on our way to Moab. Friendly staff and clean restrooms. Sites are fine as long as you remember that it's a private campground so they are relatively close together. Also sites further off the road are better as they is road noise. The older folks next to us told my husband that they were here for the weekend trying to get away from "tourists". I think they meant us as we were traveling with 2 kids aged 8 and 12.
I'm usually a "boondocker" camper. But, I had business that I needed to conduct in the town of Blanding Utah. Instead of paying $100 per night for a hotel room, I had opted for $45 per night with a 15% discount for one of their "premium" spots that overlook a vast open field to fantastic views of Bears Ears! This was my first time ever staying in a RV park and I gotta say that this RV park did not disappoint me at all. They just recently opened new, very roomy and clean shower stalls. Great water pressure and refreshing shower experience. The park is very clean and quiet. The spots are thought out nicely giving you the most privacy a RV park can give you despite having other RVs nearby. I only used electric hookup for my rig which was very user-friendly. I used the water spigot located in my spot to fill my five gallon jug of water which I filtrate with my own filtration device. Over all, my experience in this RV park was very pleasant and friendly staff as well. I also feel that the price was reasonable for this area in Utah. If I needed to do a RV park again in this area, I would choose this RV park over any other in the Blanding Utah area.…
