Not an expensive hotel, so not fancy, but very clean and quiet. From check-in to check-out the clerks made us feel welcome and comfortable. We had booked through Priceline and had somehow accidentally booked a smoking room. The clerk was courteous and helpful and found us another room. Then we had to change rooms again - unrelated issue - and the clerk never stopped being kind, professional, and helpful. The next morning we asked for a key to get into the original room where we left a charging cable. Once again, nothing but helpfulness and courtesy. I mean, they had to be getting tired of us by that point, but never showed it. Thank you for the great stay!

This hotel is just dirty. The mattress didn't have a mattress pad on it, but the sheets "seemed" clean. I checked for bugs, was very uncomfortable to stay here but did anyway. Needless to say, the rest of the room was the same. You get what you pay for. Yuck. It smelled like cleaning supplies and maybe they did the best they could, with the exception of buying new mattresses. It's just an old motel.

One of the dirtiest most rundown places I’ve ever stayed. The paint was peeling off the filthy walls. Security lock was broken off the door, smoke detector was ripped off wall and exposed wires were wrapped up in a rag. The room stunk terribly.

The booking was difficult as I could not understand the person on phone at all…not one word and had to hang up and call again. The next staff person was easier but had to really pay attention. I told them I had 2 small dogs and they explained one of their hotels allows and the other does not…so they booked me in the appropriate one. They were not able to tell me pet fee and put me on hold for several minutes only to not have info. They also told me that there was a refundable deposit of $50 CASH due at entry. I was texted my room info and the hotel direct number and for two days I tried to call to advise of late arrival…no one ever answered the phone. We were on a date weekend and drove 2 hours to get there only to find out they don’t accept dogs!!! That deposit, by the way, was posted at $100 cash in the lobby. So a lot of info was wrong!! We had to turn around and go home because other hotels were booked or no dogs. The man behind the counter was very nice and simply could not explain why I was told what I was. The no dog policy had been in effect for some time. The entire experience from the first call was just strange.

I have never left a review for anything before but please DO NOT STAY here! We had reservations at another hotel, but it was cancelled due to storm damage, so we were scrambling to find another hotel. The front desk at OYO was very friendly, but the hallways were dirty, smelled like old cigarettes, and there were holes in the walls. We were trying to stay positive, but when we got to our room, there were dirty towels on the floor, and the beds were unmade with dirty sheets. We went back to the front desk to see if they gave us the key to the wrong room. They then gave us a key to a different room. The next room had stained carpets, walls and beds. There were holes in the wall, used bandaids stuck to the wall, the furniture had been taped together with blue painters tape, and only one lightbulb in the room worked. We could not even stomach the place, we ended up canceling our room and we are still trying to get a refund. Thankfully, we found another very clean room at another hotel in Nacogdoches.

OYO means "on your own" waste of money. Lesson learned. The party motel of Nac. Sleep in your car you will be better off. Along with the bad traffic from the constructions makes it that much worse. You have been warned.

I wish i could give 0 stars. The wifi doesnt work. They will not give you a key to your own room, you have to ask the front desk to let you back in to your room every time you step out. The rooms smell like urine and have bugs. The employees told me for 4 days that a technician was coming to fix to room keys and the wifi. Toilets and sinks backing up on me and no one comes to fix them till 2 in the morning. When i told the stank-face lady at the front desk that i had not received the room or the amentities that i paid for, she slipped a note under my door threatening to call the pilice. The manager does not come to the hotel and does not speak to customers. This hotel should not be open in its current condition, and several of the employees will tell you the same
