Spent a week here and that was more than enough. With a 2 year old in tact there was nothing for him to do, no entertainment for children if you want to call a man singing songs entertainment then so be it. Hotel was clean food not the standard I would expect for a 4 star every dinner time it was constantly repeated burgers chips pizza pasta repeat repeat. Took our babies swim float to the pool on the first day to be told it isn't allowed in the pool what a joke! Was then told actually we could. No atmosphere at this hotel what so ever if your at a certain age and just want quiet and peace then yes this is the place for you. We started to eat out as our 2 year old was refusing the food I don't blame him. 10 mins walk is a beautiful restaurant carisma really good and top quality. The food is the worse food I've ever had at a all inclusive it is edible but not enjoyable. I would say this is a 3 star for the price we paid around 800/900 each this Really is disappointing.

This was our 3rd visit to the Marylanza and is the only hotel we have returned to for a holiday. This (very delayed) trip was a joint milestone birthday celebration and although we booked through a UK agent, we contacted the hotel to upgrade our room to one that overlooked the golf course. We were given this at a reduced rate which was lovely. On checking in we were further upgraded to a honeymoon suite which was unexpected but a wonderful surprise. All the rooms in the hotel are above average in our experience but this was amazing. Huge balcony, super king size bed and a bath for 2. What more could you want? All the staff were friendly and work extremely hard to make sure the hotel is clean, food and drinks are available and queries answered. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Being on the edge of Playa de las Americas it’s always a concern there will be a few “Brits abroad” and there we were a couple of them. However, staff very discreetly dealt with people who were putting towels out on loungers early, smoking where they shouldn’t etc… COVID-safe measures were well managed and did not have any adverse effect on our holiday. The buffet restaurant is, in our experience, a bit better than average but it is still a buffet restaurant so you get to see the same food over and over again. On this occasion we didn’t opt for the sample menu at the other restaurant as we are not big fans of fish. We have been before and it’s very good. Overall, we wanted to stay at a hotel where we could immediately relax and knew what to expect. Our expectations in this case were exceeded and we look forward to returning

I found the hotel very clean, all the staff do an amazing job!! Our hotel room was amazing, room G214…If you like sun all day on your balcony with your own sun loungers then request this room. Food in the restaurant was really good and had no complaints as with the pool bar food..We went to the ala carte one night - which I enjoyed but my hubby is not a great fish fan, unfortunately there offered no alternative so don’t go if your a veggie. The wine they offered with the meal was the best I had. The wine in the bars was not to my liking so upgrade - they charged you by the glass or bottle.. Loads of reps around the hotel which I thought was good if you have any questions to ask but the TUI app keeps you informed. Would definitely recommend this hotel to couples and families, honestly only complaint I had was with the guy in the restaurant - they make you wait before you enter the restaurant to be seated..All I will say is be more consistent if this is what you want to do (some days you could walk in by a member of staff saying in you go)….Also for Covid measures the walk in and out are round the wrong way!!

Just spent a week here with my wife and some friends for a friend's 50th and really enjoyed the holiday,, The hotel is in an excellent location with a 15 minute walk to the main bar and shopping areas of Plays,, The hotel itself was immaculately clean and food served was of a good quality whether it the restaurant or the pool bar. The covid restrictions where implace regards mask wearing around the bar, restaurant and main entrance but wasn't that much of a problem. The no smoking ban around the pool was a pain for the smokers as you either had to leave the hotel or go back to your room and smoke on your balcony. Also no pool games,, wether it balls or bats or Lilo's. Bit odd but rules are rules. Over all really enjoyed a quiet relaxed week and would definitely go back and recommend as a hotel. One small detail,, it's classed as a golf resort hotel,,, not sure why as you get no discount for a round at the course next door??? But odd,,, One last recommendation,,, on an evening,, go to the Cafe Plaza bar near the Safari centre and check out the excellent Trevor Martyn singing and entertaining old school . Very funny but a cracking singer. Go visit this hotel,, you won't(or shouldn't) be disappointed,, Cheers,, G

Overview: Really nice hotel, good food & drinks, good location and great staff. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for the great holiday! Food: Although we did go out most nights, breakfast, lunch, dinner and pool bar food was really good, a range of hot and cold food, seemed very fresh and of good quality and we enjoyed it, My girlfriend is coeliac and we were worried about how food would be for her but there was a range of gluten free food, including cakes and pastries. All food was clearly labelled at the buffet and they also had lacto free etc. Would have enjoyed more variety on all inclusive ice cream but thats just being picky. Drinks: Drinks were good and plentiful. We particularly liked how the majority of drinks were self service i.e. fanta, coke, lager, slushes and more which made staying topped up on drinks a lot easier. The bar did have a range of house spirits, wine and cocktails that weren't anything fancy but definitely good for around the pool! Location: Location was ideal for us as you could walk in to Los Cristanos and to Playa De Las Américas easily, we do enjoy the walk but if you aren't up for walking I dont imagine the taxi would cost much at all. Gym & Spa: Realistically I do think the gym itself should be part of the all inclusive as it isn't well equipped to the point of paying extra, however I do enjoy the gym so I paid the €20 for 5 days which I didn't think was too bad for the convenience. The gym itself is very modern and looks very nice. The spa was closed at the time of visit (covid regulations) but did look really nice. Room: The room was very large (we upgraded to superior), it had a kitchen diner area, a couch and a chaise lounge, the bedroom was in a separate room with double mirrored wardrobes. The balcony was the best feature and was huge and compromised of a table for 4 and 2 loungers and plenty space in between. Staff: All the staff at the hotel were really nice and always exceptionally friendly and helpful when needed. Covid: Good measures for covid in place and I can imagine if you were the cautious type you would feel safe. Not a fan of the mask myself but for the sake of wearing one when moving around the hotel for less than 5% of your day its not exactly the worst experience.
