Arrived from the UK 31/8/20. I have been an owner on this Complex for over 20 years and pay 50 euro a week in community charges. But the community areas are dirty and the place has been infested with cockroaches and wasps. No Manager has been here since lockdown. Just the absolute minimum of staff here. Grossly over worked. Why are we still paying the full charge when nothing is being done to look after this Complex? Come on Roberto Barreieo - Vice President - get down to Compostela Beach Golf and sort it out.

It started off as a good holiday but soon became apparent this was not the case... When we arrived in our room we were pleasantly surprised, there was a good view of the pool, room was large and clean, very spacious for the 3 of us. We were not feeling as positive the morning after... we were woken at 5am by what can only be described as kitchen staff throwing boxes of cutlery around.. this continued throughout the course of the holiday.. everyday.. along with the smell of raw potato. Speaking of raw potato, the food was awful, if your diet consists only of bread and chips then is the PERFECT place for you. How there hasn’t been a health and safety complaint regarding the food e.g fish dishes that were not labelled as containing fish is beyond us. My sister (who is 15) was offered alcohol at the bar by the barman who was inappropriate on several occasions. We ended up going out each night because we couldn’t stomach the cold, bland food.. this ended up being quite pricey. The maids just walk in whenever they want to, not knocking. There was one occasion where I was in the shower and the maid just walked straight in to clean the bathroom!! She didn’t even apologise after, she said something under her breath in Spanish and then left. We didn’t feel that we could raise these complaints to staff as every time we spoke to them they were very rude and dismissive. Trying to get a sun bed in the morning was like feeding time at the zoo... Very stressful! The pool was very deceiving from the pictures and was a lot smaller in person, it was also extremely cold. The barman insisted that no one could come in without a top on... however every time females walked in in their bikini, the rule did not apply. On one morning we decided to make breakfast in the room and found the countertops to be infested with ants. They had gone all over our food. We reported this to the hotel staff but no one came at all. Overall a complete disaster and waste of money.. would not recommend to my worst enemy..

My husband and I stayed here in January on an all inclusive basis. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms and sun terrace. It was quite a small complex resulting in the choice of food not being as large as in other hotels we have stayed at but everything was well cooked and we were always able to find something we liked. There was a large supermarket opposite the hotel which was useful for guests who were self catering and it was about twenty minutes walk to the beach. We went to Siam Park which was included in our stay and thought this was good value for money. All in all, this was a nice friendly hotel and we would love to stay there again.
