We had a great week here. The staff were very friendly. The apartment spotlessly clean. Breakfast delivered daily. And cleaned daily. Welcoming bottle of bubbly was a great touch.
The pool is nice. Could maybe do with a hot tub.

Booked this purely cause a friend already had. Arrived to a spotless complex that definitely fits the term small and perfectly formed. Our apartment was ready despite us arriving a couple hours early. The staff were very friendly but to be honest we barely interacted with them as we didn’t need them while there! The apartments are very well equipped and the sparkling wine, wine and water on arrival was a lovely touch. We had 301, a superior apt on the top floor which was lovely and bright and the balcony got a lot of sun most of the day. The cleaning in the apartment and the whole complex was excellent the whole time we were there. The shower was great with lots of hot water and great quality complimentary shower gel, shampoo etc. The wristband keys are a great touch and we’re definitely better than scrabbling round for a key card if hands full or stumbling in after a late night at the Yumbo. The pool area is an absolute sun trap, on our second day it was quite breezy out, but not by the pool. It is clothing optional and while we were there maybe half the people took advantage of that, myself included. That being said if the sight of naked men of all ages isn’t for you maybe you’d be better somewhere else. Unfortunately the pool heating was not working while we were there, though work was underway to fix it and we were told it would be back on by month end. As mentioned the supermarket round the corner had everything you needed and a great choice of fresh produce and baked items and was very reasonably priced.
We had such a lovely relaxing few days here and hope to return next year and hoping it goes on sale soon!

We spent 10 nights at the Atlantic Sun Beach. The apartments are perfect for us and we had a great stay. We stayed in apartment 303 on the 3rd and top floor. The apartment was big enough and cleaned daily. White bedding, robes and white towels are provided and nice big yellow beach towels. The bed was king size and We found it comfortable. The bathroom was equipped with shower gel and shampoo and a modern shower and bathroom furnishings. The living room had a great TV that had all 5 uk channels and we were also able to log into our own Netflix and Amazon accounts. The fridge is a good size and the microwave/grill was a god send for us. Coffee machine with replacement pods were provided throughout our stay and we also received welcome Cava and White Wine. Air con is also provided. The balcony faces south and gets the morning and early afternoon sunlight. Outside the grounds are well maintained and the pool and sun loungers are cleaned frequently. 10 minute walk from the Yumbo and 5 minutes to the beach the location was exactly what we needed. It’s difficult to find fault but it was frustrating that the pool wasn’t heated in February it wasn’t possible for us to use it (a few people were brave enough) I see from previous reviews that the management are trying to resolve this issue. Also the shower temperature was very hot and we couldn’t make it cooler so after a long day in the sun it wasn’t possible to have a cool shower. When all said and done we wouldn’t hesitate to revisit these apartments and look forward to heading back in the near future.

Just returned from our 1st stay here and loved it. The apartments are in a great location within 10 min walk of the Yumbo, 5 mins to the beach and 10-15 mins to dunes entrance. The rooms are bright, modern and well furnished with rainforest shower, smart TV and the most comfortable beds. Pool area is great and has sun & shaded areas all day. Sunbeds all have matresses for extra comfort. Nice mix of mainly naked guys, all ages/shapes/sizes and very unpretentious. Unfortunately our 10 nights turned out to be just 5 as we arrived shortly before the Covid 19 lockdown and had to return home early. The staff are amazing, particularly Jorge who couldn't do enough for us and kept us informed with what was happening locally. He even cleaned our rooms once the cleaners were no longer allowed onsite due to the lockdown! We are hoping to return later in the year once we're able to travel again and will definitely be staying at the Atlantic Sun Beach again.

A very pleasant weeks stay here. The property is in a very quiet residential area, 10mins walk to Yumbo, 5 mins walk to the beach area. Supermarket very near and is very well stocked with a good range. Fresh breads and pastry’s every day.
The grounds are recently refurbished and look great. The pool wasn’t heated during our stay, but they were working on repairing it.
It is a small complex with only 15 apartments, which makes it pleasant.
The apartment was very clean, spacious and well furnished.
The mini kitchen actually works well and is very well stocked with equipment. The fridge was bigger than expected, which was great.
Very comfy bed!
The check in process is very quick and straight forward, staff are very friendly and helpful.
The pool/bathing area is a little sun trap during the day, plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas available.
They provide tea/coffee, a little washing up pack and some complementary wine on arrival.
My only complaint/suggestion would be; a small sign with the hotel name could be placed on the entrance to assist taxis to identify the hotel.
Will certainly visit again next year!

Me and the bf have been coming here twice a year for the last 3 years, we used to love it but sadly it’s NOT good anymore. George the manager was nice but he is not there anymore and feels lacking so many things, attention to detail. I always write good reviews but sadly dont want to return for a whole reason of things this time. I will be cancelling the next planned trip and not returning here.
They unfortunately have installed a jacuzzi, sounds great but its NOT, guests are in there drinking and partying all night long, so it means NO sleep and you cant open your windows for the noise. 11pm 3am 4am all night long chatting and noise coming into the apartments and neighbours(they might as well be in the room with you).
Also guest are smoking in the jaccuzzi in the day and night which means its ash all around the spa. fag buts and full ashtrays all over the place. Why not just shut the jaccuzzi at 9 or 10pm and say its closed till morning. you could also install a no smoking in the spa sign.!!! Overall this ruined all the nights we tried to sleep. Left us feeling very annoyed, having emailed and messaged to not have a response till we left.
The pillows are old and flat and sink around your head so bring your own. The sheet and duvet feels old and tired these days.
All the kitchen utensils are very basic. no bread knife or sharp knife this time, very blunt knife that didnt cut anything couldn't even cut fresh bread. no scissors. and old bad looking knifes and forks. It really needs an update and care.
The Breakfast bag is kinda pointless, gets boring even over a week, bad quality fruit and juices. Its a nice touch but falls in quality and variety.
Now to top it all off, check out is at 11am thats fine but dont knock on the door at 10.55am asking me to go!!! Not cool when your packing or trying to get out. if i was late then knock!!! wasnt impressed and left us with a bad feeling.
Overall we felt very let down this trip and have really not ever want to return. We will cancel our next planned booking for here.
MOW hotels your standards have slipped and unfortunately you have lost 2 regular guests. sorry. Don’t give me your generic response but just listen to the feedback.

I have to say that we really enjoyed our stay here. We arrived later in the day so were given the keys through the safe box which was great and very easy to find the room. The room has great facilities including a lovely bottle of wine and bottles of water. Our apartment was very clean, spacious and had a great view of the pool area. The area in which the hotel is situated in is a very quiet residential area but only a 10 minute walk to the Yumbo. I would like to thank you to Jorge. Christian and Maria for looking after us. I recommend this hotel, it’s clean good location and the staff are friendly. The rooms are good size, and well equipped. The pool is a decent size, naked sunbathing is allowed and the grounds well maintained. However I would urge the management to screen the pool from the hotel next door. A screen separating the pool from the front of the hotel would be a good idea.

We have just spent two weeks at Atlantic Sun Beach Apartments and it’s an absolute gem. We have been going to Gran Canaria on and off for over 20 years and we have finally found the perfect place.
If you want a gay resort that’s loud & rowdy, has a lively bar, pool parties and all-day music.. this is absolutely NOT the place for you. All of that is plentiful and easily within reach. The beach & dunes are within walking distance, as is the famous Yumbo Centre and a huge selection of bars, clubs and parties.
This is a small, quiet resort. Just 15 smart apartments around a pool and plentiful sun beds occupied by a diverse range of mostly naked gay men. All ages, all shapes, all sizes, as it should be!
You might have a six-pack and the latest Aussiebums... well, good for you, but no one really cares!
George and his small, dedicated team work tirelessly to make sure your stay is everything they can make it. Nothing is too much trouble. During our stay there was the worst sandstorm in 20 years, but they were there doing their best to clean up and carry on, as they do every day.
We got home today and are trying to juggle dates to squeeze in another trip there this year.

I stayed in room 101 I think. Bottom floor near reception, was my first solo holiday trip to the island stayed for a week last christmas, 2021. I am a very nervous person with a lot of issues but everyone especially the cute staff member was very understanding,
The room was great with free safe, wine, cava, tv stations, coffee machines was able to clear my head felt great to be unclothed for most of it.
only wish I left resort more.
would recommend.
One night I think I was accidently too loud (sorry to friendly guy next door) but neighbour was polite and when I realised I tried to keep the noise down.
In conclusion great staff, clean, quiet place nice guests. sorry if I caused any issues

Dear guest, thank you for your question. The pool is normally heated in the wintertime. The swimming pool area is not completely private, the neighbouring hotels are close to, but you can do nudism without any problem. The vibe around is calm and quiet, perfect to enjoy by the pool. I think the only difference is the size. We just had a standard one bedroom and it was quite spacious for two with a little kitchenette. I do believe all rooms were recently modernized. Guest do sunbathe nude, but no pressure or attitude if you don’t. It’s very secure with high wall and gates entrance and your key is a wristband with a chip that you can swim with it on so no worries about losing a key just waive your wrist at panel to gain access. The staff are honest and welcoming, so we’re guests. It was like we had all lived there for awhile. We had a great time during our two week stay. Hope you have the same experience!
There are more places to choose from in the Playa del Ingles area.
