This new hotel has a splendid location, just a few metres of the Mueritz See, one of the largest lakes ofGermany. The entrance of Mueritz National Park is just a few hundreds of metres from the hotel. The hotel has 35 rooms, the rooms with lake-view are the best (and more expensive) There are many smaller lakes in the Park and in autumn the cranes are assembling with thousands in one of tis smaller lakes. A fascinating view!
Brand new hotel (opened 2008), 7 meters from the Mueritzsee with a nice view (from the more expensive seaside rooms), about 1km from the harbour and the old city center. Non-smoking hotel. Although the rooms were nice, modern and clean, there are still some things that could be improved - there was no phone in the room, no wireless lan or computer in the lobby (but a network socket in the room for those travelling with a laptop), no place to store bikes overnight. Breakfast was good, the tables were a bit small and placed pretty close together.
