The Lancaster is a beautiful, immaculate and incredibly well-run hotel. My wife and I enjoyed four days and three nights there in mid-September 2021. Our room was beautifully appointed, spotless every day, and had a great, high-pressure shower - just what we needed after long and exhausting days with my sister at MD Anderson. One of those days I had to work from the hotel and the staff could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. The GM, Tom Harwell, even stopped-by my table to ensure that the WiFi was working well for me. The food at the on-site restaurant, Cultivated, was excellent. My wife and I both had the Crispy Pan-seared Salmon more than once - it was fantastic. The F&B Director, Allan Levine, took the time to stop-by, talk, learn of our situation, share stories, and extend much-appreciated courtesies. We've been blessed to stay at many fine hotels, but none equaled the personal, caring, professional service we received from The Lancaster's staff.

Hotel's Favourite
This was my first and hopefully not my last stay at the stunning hotel. My room included stunning art work, luxurious bath toiletries, yummy COMPLEMENTARY snacks and ultra comfy bed. Upon my arrival to my room, I was greeted with a complimentary cheese plate to welcome my stay. Once I was able to get settled into my room, I headed downstairs to the restaurant to meet up with a friend for lunch. I decided the try the Lancaster salad and oh my goodness, that was the MOST delicious salad, I've ever tasted. The service at our meal was so amazing that we decided to head to the bar to continue our visit. At the bar we tried the Candied Pecan Old Fashion drink...sooo delicious! The hotel stay included the most delicious breakfast, complete with eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, fruits, oatmeal and various breads and pastries, all complimentary and part of your stay. The hotel more than exceeded my expectations and made sure every tiny detail was taken care of. HIGHLY recommend The Lancaster Hotel

I cannot say enough about our wonderful experience at The Lancaster!!! First, we had booked a suite plus an additional room to accommodate 6 lifelong girlfriends...two were celebrating 60th birthdays. I called the night before to see if there was any way we could check in a little early so that we could decorate. Daniel went over and above and made it possible for us to arrive early in plenty of time to set everything up! Upon arriving at the Lancaster, besides a friendly welcome, they ask if you would like a glass of champagne! What! No one does that! Such a wonderful surprise and so refreshing to see a company thinking outside the box! Second surprise: all of the snacks and drinks in the room are for your enjoyment free of charge! Again, no one does that!!! Bonus 3: a full breakfast buffet is included in the price of the room...so nice! And because we reserved a suite, they informed us we could order room service breakfast from the menu if we preferred to stay in the room, which we did! All complimentary! The decor is so lovely and stunning, the restaurant is also cozy and charming and has a beautiful outdoor seating area that has planters filled with flowers lining the railing...reminds me of a quaint little European boutique hotel. The front desk crew, Daniel, Amber and Amadi exemplify professionalism and go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect! Lastly, when we were checking out and needed a cart sent to the room the hotel was very busy with many doing the same...who shows up but the General Manager, Mr. Tom Harwell!!! He loaded our luggage and went above and beyond to make sure our exit was seamless. You can see why his staff is so efficient and accommodating as he leads by example. Mr. Harwell, I have travelled to many hotels throughout the world and the beauty, efficiency and genuine, stellar service at The Lancaster is top on the list! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and memory! I wish you continued success!

I stayed with them the weekend of September 10th for my son's fencing tournament. Honestly, I was impressed with the quality of the service. They really made me feel like part of the family. Starting with the front desk, the valet guys, Allan and Tom (the GM), they all made sure that everything was great. The rooms are very clean (and I'm a clean freak) and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is very good and the snacks and drinks in the room are a nice plus. But again, what separates this hotel from the rest is SERVICE. Thank you for your hospitality! Will be back soon!

Very nice hotel and very clean. The staff was helpful and attentive. The room was lovely and well appointed. Comfortable bed and pillows. Generous towels. Snacks and soft drinks/water in the room were complimentary which is very unusual during a hotel stay. The elevator was close and quiet and did not take long to be able to board. Hotel location is great for being near the Theater District. The bar service was great and very accomodating. The breakfast was buffet style and not nearly as inclusive as a lower quality hotel, which was disappointing. They offered gluten-free muffins that they retrieved from some kitchen, but they were so rubbery that you could barely chew. They were not very gluten-free menu friendly as had no cereals either and stated that they had run out of gluten-free bread for toast. Did not serve skim milk, but could offer soy or almond milk. Needless to say the breakfast food service for a hotel of this quality was a huge disappointment and we heard other guests comment likewise. I would probably stay here again, but would look elsewhere for breakfast food. I would not consider the Lancaster Hotel's breakfast buffet as an an asset as being included in the room rate.`

Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback on your recent stay. Overall, I am pleased to see that our staff was helpful and attentive and that you found your guestroom to be well-appointed and comfortable. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience regarding our limited gluten-free options during your stay. We strive to provide an excellent guest experience and I am saddened to see we fell short. I have reviewed your comments with our food & beverage director in order to improve our offerings. We hope to welcome you back again. Tom Harwell, General Manager
