I truly enjoyed this hotel. From the minute I arrived, valet/bellmen were immediately there to greet me and offer assistance. It was HOT and oh my gosh it was humid but they were cheerful and smiling all the the time. The Front Desk staff is absolutely perfect. Damion checked me and he was on point. He was so professional and made me feel welcomed. Emmie, Hassnain and Jake are absolutely the best at there craft. I returned from a night out with a friend and had an opportunity to meet Nicki and Ogechi and I have to say....those to ladies are the best I have ever met in any hotel. They were so cheerful and pleasant and so engaging. For two ladies to work at midnight and still have charisma like that...WOW is all I have to say. I see that housekeeping and maintenance teams working very hard and they do a splendid job. The hotel has some character and age to it but I have been told that renovations are happening this year. Cannot forget the Food & Beverage employees. James, Javier and Victoria run a great operation at breakfast. It gets busy in there in the morning but they keep those smiles planted on those faces and make you feel like you are the most important person in the room. I stopped by the coffee shop each morning for my Dirty Chai and I have to say that Jacki and Devon are God sent. Those two drive the service culture of this hotel. Who needs coffee when you get a dose of those two. Keep up those amazing personalities team, The Koi Pond is the best feature of this hotel (aside from the staff). It is the coolest thing to see those fish swim around the lobby of the hotel. They give you fish food at the Front Desk and you can step right up to the fish and feed and pet them. If I could take away more stars I would I came here with my boyfriend and the hotel is nice in the lobby but the rooms were outdated and old. Even the lobby areas had alot of spider webs all over the hotel. The first couple days I was sick and I thought it was bad allergies until I found MOLD in the sheets. I removed the sheets and got sent new ones and it was mold again. They then tried to change my room and that bed was bad too. The head cleaning lady excuse was because the feathers had got clumped in certain areas but I know that's false since the sheets are cotton and mold was everywhere! I was disgusted and had to sleep without sheets the next nights but my sinuses got better so I know it was the mold. Mold can be DEADLY and all we recieved was one night free. We deserve more and was suppose to hear back from the hotel manager days later after an investigation but it has been weeks and never heard back from them. Have called plenty of times. Just do not stay here and if you do check your sheets!

We stayed at the Park Suite, which offered a luxurious double living room, executive desks and views that could not be beat. Christopher Carey, their Director of Rooms made this trip for us. I was supposed to be finished with check out by 11am. I was running behind schedule, and upon asking Mr. Carey- he ever so kindly extended my stay free of charge. He saved me hundreds in fees by doing so, and this is what the Omni is all about. When you pay for a hotel dedicated to being the pinnacle name in Luxury, there are no surprises. The stay is just that. Luxury. I would rate this a 11/10 if possible, and whenever I visit home in Houston, they know I'll be staying at Omni Houston Hotel at Westside!

We traveled here when the hotel was still under some renovations, but amazing stay non the less. There was evening service as well as morning juice delivery. The rooms were a little dated, but comfortable non the less. I would stay here again and see how their renovations went.

Shower did not work! I was overcharged on the bill! No amends were made! I called the omni I stayed at and they only fixed the bill. They seemed to not care that the shower didn't work. By the time I realized the shower didn't work I had to check out for a business meeting. Highly unacceptable.
