Don't stay here!!!! During Winter Storm Uri we booked a room and an hour after check-in the power went out. We had to flee quickly to make it to Austin before the ice storm got bad again to ensure we had heat and water for our newborn baby. A few days later, we discovered we were actually charged twice for the same room, despite not being able to stay there with heat. We contacted the hotel but they would not refund us. We disputed the charge with our credit card company, but the hotel lied to the credit card company and said the power never went out.
We have stayed at this location before and were quite happy, but this particular visit our room receive no housekeeping visit to bring fresh towels, more toilet paper, empty trash, etc...even after requesting these essentials at the front desk. Our stay was 4 days and we saw no one during this time. Let’s improve on this next visit, there are other hotels in the area.
Very good value hotel. Location is near restaurants & shopping. Rooms are very clean and the front desk staff is super friendly and helpfull, I must say they made my stay an great one. They have free parking and a Grab & Go breakfast because of COVID. The only thing I would recommend is to enforce wearing masks in common spaces, We didn't see any guests wearing one, even the staff don't wear them. So if you are looking for a hotel with strictly enforced COVID measures this is not the one for you. They do have signs asking to wear a mask & marks on the floor for social distancing. I would stay again if visiting the area...
The moment that we checked-in we inmediately regreted booking the hotel. The room has a bad smell and felt dirty. The clientele on that friday night had me afraid of getting mugged in the parking lot. People smoking weed outside the lobby and no one saying anything to them.
. From the beginning we noticed a bad smell in the room and we thought maybe it was because it was closed. The smell is unbearable. The next day it was worse, they did not clean, they did not wash the bathroom. They didn't leave clean glasses, they didn't make the beds. A disaster ! We went to the reception and they only told us: tomorrow we will give you another room, sorry. There is very little hygiene in general and always but more in this time of pandemic they should be cleaner. I will not come back.
